Hi, my dear friends!
I often say that neither war, nor the apocalypse, nor the invasion of zombies, nothing can prevent doves from breeding. These are amazing birds. Despite the fact that the female hatches only two chicks, they have a huge population. This is largely due to the fact that they breed almost all year round. Even in winter (although in winter often one or both chicks do not survive).
In addition, gray doves are quite tough in defending their territory or occupying a new one. I had a sad experience when my peacock-tailed white doves lived in my attic. And one day I saw a nest of gray doves there. I felt sorry for them and did not evict and it was a mistake. Very soon they brought a whole flock there. But besides that, they killed all the white female doves and all chicks.
But baby dove is a cute and cute creature. By the way, people rarely see dove chicks. They hatch from eggs almost completely bald and helpless and their parents keep them warm all the time.
