Shadow Snitch (Level 1)
Splinter | Death |
---|---|
Mana cost | 4 |
Edition | Chaos Legion |
Melee Attack | 1 |
Speed | 1 |
Health | 5 |
Ability | Reach |
Rarity | Common |
I personally rarely use Shadow Snitch. I think 1 speed and 1 damage is slim for 4 mana. It had nice health pool. Plus Reach which can be useful occasionally.
It is a common chaos legion card therefore everyone has it because it is part of the basic cards. I personally do not own a copy of it. As you can see in the table below it is a cheap card as a regural foil and not expensive as a gold foil. There are a lot of available copies at the moment.
Here comes the battle:
I was in silver 3 at the time of the battle. As you can see I had an interesting ruleset.
Rules:
Battle modifiers | Mana cap | Available splinters |
---|---|---|
Healed Out | 14 | Fire |
Even Stevens | - | Death |
So what did I chose to do?
For Summoner: Thaddius Brood it will decrease the enemy monsters health by 1 and their magic damage (if there is any) also by 1. I had other summoners besides this, but I chose Thaddius to reduce the health of my enemy's monsters.
Monsters:
- Cursed Windeku best (at least I think) widely available tank for Death splinter thanks to it's Thorns ability, and high health.
- Shadow Snitch as a kind of off tank. I mainly chose it thanks to the challenge and it fit nicely with the Even Stevens rule.

Did my strategy work?
Yes, I won the battle. It was a close one, but having a melee in second row proved to be a good choice and the Snitches Reach ability was a key for the victory.
What will I try differently next time?
Given this ruleset I would not change my lineup. I know that it was a risky tactic, but sometimes you have to risk to win.
Thanks for the reading, I hope you enjoyed, see you on the battlefield!
