Our life is not like a train track, different situations give us different paths at different times, and it is up to us to transform these situations into something better.
My parents didn't give me many gifts, but if they did, they would give me a toy on my birthday. I did not waste or break them but kept them carefully, sometimes using them as a hobby. On my 12th birthday, they bought me a bicycle; I was so happy that I spent most of my free time with it. I learned to ride a bicycle in a short time. I choose to be happy and grateful for everything instead of spending my whole life crying in the corner of the room and getting attention. Because this is how it should be, I realised, albeit belatedly.
There are far better reasons to be happy than to spend most of your life thinking about negative things. Every parent loves their child and hopes and expects the best for the child. If you ever feel like your parents don't love you, it means they are busy but not forgotten.
Growing up, my only goal was to learn to do everything independently, and I did. I tried to be mature, learned to explore and learned a lot about how to be an independent person. But being independent doesn't mean I give up everything or don't need them. Of course, I need them because I love my parents so much; I never imagine leaving them. As they have allowed me to see the world's light, I will be with them till their last days.
Many say that love can only be seen by spending time with each other and sharing things. My parents didn't give me time; I won't love them for that. Or don't they love me? I clearly understand that my parents wish for me; they work hard thinking of my bright future, earn money to send me to school, for my higher education, and buy me things.
This is a clear expression of parental love. I remind myself to be happy, content, and grateful with what I have in my life; it is better to be happy with what I have than to be unhappy in life by expecting or expecting more. There are many challenges to face in life, and it is really up to us to turn those challenges into opportunities. I am studying hard without expecting their time so that I can find a stable job after completing my graduation. And I will stop all their work so that we can return to the family bond.
If life doesn't work out, look for alternatives.
