30 Days - Lessons to learn

in #hive-1776824 months ago

Hello guys,This writing challenge has been a true adventure for me. It lasted 30 days and taught me a great deal about myself and my work. Let me tell you what I learned and the problems I encountered. First, let us discuss what I gained. Most importantly, I learnt how to better manage my time. Writing every day for 30 days is not easy; it requires dedication and strategy. I had to make time to write every day that is, even if I was busy or weary. This made me appreciate the necessity of making time for what matters to me.

Another thing I gained was experience in coming up with ideas. Some days, I would sit down to write and my mind would be blank. But I had to push through and find something to write about. This exercise really helped me improve my creativity and ability to generate ideas.I also gained confidence in my writing. At the start of the challenge I was unsure if I could write something every day. But as the days went by, I found that I could do it. Even if some days were harder than others I was still able to produce something. This boosted my belief in my writing abilities.

Now, let's talk about the difficulties I encountered. The biggest challenge was definitely finding topics to write about every day. Some days, I would spend more time thinking of what to write than actually writing. This was frustrating, but it also pushed me to be more observant of the world around me looking for inspiration in everyday things.

Another difficulty was maintaining quality while writing every day. Some days, I felt like what I wrote wasn't my best work. But I learned that its okay not to be perfect all the time. The important thing was to keep writing and improving. Time management was also a challenge. There were days when life got busy, and I struggled to find time to write. This taught me the importance of prioritizing and making time for the things that are important to me.

In spite of these challenges, I'm rather happy with the outcome. I felt content generally, despite the fact that there were days when I was unable to complete the challenge. I gained a great deal of insight into myself and my writing from the experience.

As the writing process advances, there are a few things I would do differently. I would attempt to first establish an idea bank. I'll have some ideas to fall back on in case I'm struggling to come up with a topic. Additionally, I would try to set some time every day for writing. I could establish a writing habit and prevent missing days because of time constraints if I did this. Moreover, I would be more self-forgiving. I came to understand that not every written work has to be flawless. Sometimes writing itself is just as important as the finished product.

I would also work to mix up my writing styles and themes more. This assignment taught me that I tend to cling to specific genres of writing. In the future, I want to challenge myself to attempt new techniques and write on themes I'm unfamiliar with. Finally, I'd like to connect more with other writers. Sharing my experiences and hearing about other people's adventures may bring motivation and new perspectives.

The 30-day writing challenge was an amazing experience, to sum up. Though there were ups and downs, in the end it helped me develop as a writer. I gained essential knowledge in consistency, concept generation, and time management. Even though my progress throughout these 30 days was not flawless, I am happy with what I accomplished since the challenges I faced taught me important lessons about perseverance and self-forgiveness. Above everything, I kept writing, learning, and developing. That's the main goal of being a good writer.
