A place you have always wanted to visit - day 18

in #hive-1976854 months ago

Yesterday was day 18 , do permit me as I will have to make two prompts on the same day. It actually hasn't been easy for me these few days, I just learnt that one can't do everything at once, one thing has to wait for another to go.So here I go.

Topic says - “A place you have always wanted to visit”

When I think about it, one place I'd love to visit is Uyo, my hometown. It's been a long time since I've been there; the last time I went was in 2015, when I travelled alone to see my mother, and then when she came to visit, I have a great desire to go back and spend time there.

Another reason is that I made some new friends through a WhatsApp group and am quite excited to meet them in person. Let me not mention any names. Hehe. I think it would be great to connect with them in my own hometown, because they are also there.

The sole issue is that, despite the fact that Uyo is my hometown, I don't visit as frequently as I'd want. There are always other obligations and objectives that appear to take precedence. It's not that I don't want to visit; it's simply that finding time and balancing everything can be difficult.

I really need to look at my options carefully. On the one hand, I'm really looking forward to going back home and spending time with my new friends. However, I must ensure that I do not neglect other essential duties that require my immediate attention. It is a difficult decision to make.

If I'm being honest, I feel a strong draw towards Uyo. I haven't been there in a long time, and I miss the sights, sounds, and feel of my hometown. I know things have definitely changed significantly since 2015, and I'm looking forward to seeing the updates. Plus, the chance to hang out with my new friends makes it even more tempting. At the same time, I can't just drop everything and go. I have to be responsible and make sure I'm prioritizing the right things. I'll need to carefully evaluate my schedule and obligations to see if I can realistically make this trip work. It's all about finding that right balance.

I'm torn, but I'm leaning towards attempting to make this Uyo visit happen. The thought of reconnecting with my heritage and forming new friends is too alluring to pass up. I just have to make sure I arrange it well and don't overlook other crucial stuff.

Well it might be difficult too at this time too, also because of the financial strain on it, but I know soon and very soon it would be something I can tick of my check list, very soon. I really do hope I can pull this off soon and not too long, so here I am wishing myself "Good luck" as I try to figure this out or Whatever!

You will find time to visit your home town, don't stress! ... you will get some holidays... nothing bad its not happening right away!

Hope you know you're no longer an Uyo person?😂
