For day 17 of this writing challenge it says how did you spend your day , did it go as planned?
So I will start like this, since I attend university on weekends because I am a part-time student, I can't describe my day without starting from how I had planned to spend my weekend.
So for a while now , I have been having issues with my phone , I did a powerdown on my hive account so I can get a new phone, but plans changed when my phone decided it had had enough of me, so instead of waiting for the powerdown to be completed, I had to ask a few persons on hive to lend me the money I needed to get one, well I got it and planed that Saturday was the day I was going to go get it but I had to go to school first.
I got to school, our new class was locked and we had to wait a while outside till we were directed to go to our former class, we had the first lecture and it end around 10am which was the time I left class to go get my phone and I also had a wedding to attend, after changing my dress, I began my journey, I had already called the phone agent because hand that I was coming.
Well that day didn't go as planned because the bus I took got stuck in traffic and he took a wrong turn , and a place I was supposed to be at in 30 minutes became a 2 Hour journey. I got the phone shop and had issues withdrawing from my account, there was a transaction limit on it . I was not happy , after putting a call to someone from church , he sent me the amount I needed and I promised to pay back when I had my bank issues rectified. I got the phone and left there, I took a bus to the wedding venue only for me to see a message from my sister that I shouldn't bother that they had finished. What a day
Well the only thing I achieved was getting my phone and collecting the food my mom collected for me at the venue. And after changing out of my owambe dress at the bus park with the help of two women using a wrapper to cover me, I left and took myself back to school, though class had ended , I decided to go to my younger sister's lecture room. Like before the day ended I was already tired.
Now, let me continue with how the rest of my day went after that hectic morning and afternoon. After visiting my sister's lecture room, I was feeling pretty exhausted, but I still had some things I wanted to accomplish before the day ended. I decided to stop by the library to pick up some books I needed for my upcoming assignments. The library was quiet and cool, which was a nice change from the hustle and bustle of the day.
While I was there, I ran into one of my classmates who I hadn't seen in a while. We ended up chatting for a bit about our classes and how we were managing our part-time studies. It was nice to catch up and share some of our experiences. We both agreed that balancing work and school could be challenging, but it was worth it in the long run.
Mehn ….. it was a stressful day let me not lie.
