Good morning, Street Art Lovers!
I'm back for another entry in the CCC's Street Art Contest #142, hosted by @digi-me.
This is not the usual Graffiti job made by Street Artists... but rather a very interesting painting on a house.
I have passed by this place numerous times but since I was always in a rush to go somewhere I never stopped to take some photos. Well, last week I had plenty of free time since it was a national holiday so I finally grabbed a few shots of this cute place. 🤗
This is a pastry shop called Confeitaria da Casa (Pastry of the House) located in a small town halfway between Maia and Vila do Conde. Its location is very good, in a very busy street and with place to park right next to it. So there are no excuses for people to drive by without stopping.
Whenever you travel through this road your eyes will always be attracted by the paintings on this house. It really stands out from everything around it.
I love all the details that were put into it, it shows the owners wanted to make it look really good to attract new customers.
Every window is painted differently, depicting various characters going on with their lives... Besides that, they also added a couple of details like some birds and nice lamps.
From every angle you look, it looks like a giant painting.
My guess is that since the top floor wasn't being used for residential purposes, the owners wanted to use the façade for something useful. A big advertisement would serve their business well... and this is a good one. 😎
Here's a final close up shot of the front, so you can check the details a bit better...
Despite having free time, I am yet to try out the place. That day I was heading for a barbecue at a friend's place... so I didn't want to fill my stomach immediately before lunch! So I only took the photos and moved on. 😆
I hope you enjoyed these shots. Thanks for stopping by.
