Hello fellow travellers,
Today let me introduce you to an amazing location, a place located in Lunca de Sus in Harghita county(Romania).
How we got here, very simply, during the time we spent with our family on the Romanian coast, we decided to make a little detour on the way back and visit this location, which at first gave me some doubts, because I couldn't find much information on the internet, but I took a little risk and I think I hit the jackpot.
After a few hours of driving, a stunning view of the mountains opened up in front of us and of course we came across a parking lot full of cars, that's when I realized the importance of this location.
Analyzing the area, I noticed that there were accommodation, dining areas and of course a parking lot.
Do you realize that after a few hours of driving we got hungry and there in the area there was a smell from the food that was prepared there, I can make a recommendation always when you are in an area with strong Hungarian influences try as a food GULAS, this is a specific Hungarian food made from beef or pork with lots of spices and of course like any amazing food has a secret of its own that the chef does not reveal.
After dining in a fairytale setting, from the table we moved to the ticket office to buy tickets, a single ride cost us 15 lei/3euro, of course we took a few rides.
From what I've seen, the sleds we'll be sliding down this track can hold a maximum weight of 150kg, so I'm in, throughout the race we'll be wearing seatbelts, it's not recommended to use mobile phones during the race (I made an exception) and most importantly, keep a safe distance in front of you.
When we got on the sled we were under the supervision of the employees there who were watching around the clock that all tourists were safe.
And so we did a few times, so in conclusion this experience is worth it, worth trying the traditional food, the local accommodation, the tourist routes.
