The John Birch Society is a right-wing/Libertarian society dedicated to republican ideas and free-capitalism. In today's world, we need to educate citizens on theirs rights, the origins of their rights and the problems that governments and their programs pose to citizens and free enterprise.
The John Birch Society (JBS) is dedicated to educating individuals about the dangerous path of communism, socialism and unrestrained democracy that leads to an oligarchy. Anarchy and monarchy do not exist in pure forms, and commonly lead to oligarchy when citizens decide they need protection.
I first became aware of this coisett when a security contractor left me some informational material. I saw a number of DVD presentations that described the original efforts and ideals of the founding fathers and their beliefs. The dangers of the welfare state and the turn towards socialism and communism are real.
Government's powers do not establish our rights, rather they are given to us by our creator. It is the government's delegated powers to protect property and rights from higher threats. The lowest layer of goverment needs to take the reigns, and the highest levels are dedicated to protecting us from foreign powers.
The problems we face in today's world arise from our collective reliance on federal government and our ignorance to the threats large government powers use. Administrative powers that the government cultivates are massively dangerous to citizens.
We need to educate ourselves, and the John Birch Society is a good example of a group who does this. Check them out on JBS.org for more information.
