I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
Between the commitments that I've made on Hive, and my level of engagement with the Hive community, I receive a lot of notifications every day. With how I've organized my life here in the jungle at GaiaYoga Gardens, this is usually not a problem, as long as I have my morning to afternoon and my evening to myself to get everything done. Challenges arise when I don't stick to this schedule, however, such as when I accept invitations to go to events, or if I spend time with people, that coincide with the times that I usually devote to Hive.
Basically what this means is that my 'free time', my time buffer, to do extracurricular activities is quite small, and as such, it's far too easy to fall behind on my massively-multiplying notifications, and with how many I get each day, that is a rather terrifying proposition. Because of this I do my absolute best never to fall too far behind.
Yesterday that's not how it flowed, however. I had been invited to a gathering last night (a birthday party for Alexia, a woman that I've known for years, and who used to live at GaiaYoga), that was being held at Dragon's Eye, which is a short distance away, down our jungle roads, from GaiaYoga. I gave a session to Emily after finshing up my morning-afternoon Hive round, and given that she was planning to attend the gathering, too, after the session we walked together to Dragon's Eye. Up until that point I was still undecided as to whether I was actually going to go to the gathering, because I was already still behind on Hive from the night before, but go I did. The party was cool, and I'm glad I went, but it was definitely not at the best timing. I started to get caught up on Hive later in the evening, before I left the party, as I knew that I was already falling too far behind.
I arrived back at GaiaYoga just after 9PM, and I made a beeline for the Flow House to dive back into catching up on my Hive notifications as quickly as I could. I worked at it from the time I got home until just before 1AM, and when I finally made myself go to sleep I was still 18 hours behind on my notifications. Very not good. So now I have to devote time that is usually allocated to other things to catching up as quickly as I can on Hive. I'll do my best to get as much as I'm able done after I finish my usual morning-to-afternoon Hive round. This small-time-buffer issue is quite problematic, as it signifies that I simply won't be able to spend any notable amount of time with people, or doing other important activities. That would suggest that there may indeed come a time when I am not able to maintain my present level of engagement and activity on Hive. An easeful balance is what I seek.
Yesterday, Tuesday, just after finishing my Hive tasks, I gave Emily her session. We started just a bit after 1PM and finished a little after 5:30. After the session, Emily and I got ourselves ready and walked to Dragon's Eye, for Lexi's party, as I mentioned above. After getting back home and catching up on Hive as much as I could, I went to bed at 1AM, slept not-so-well, woke up just after 8:30AM, did a round of token management, started on this post, and then I got out of bed just after 9AM to go make my superfood fire coffee.
It's now just before 11:45AM, so not a bad time to end this post, so that I can get to my few important Hive tasks, very hopefully catch up more on my notifications, and then leave the Flow House later in the afternoon, to first strain out and blend kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao), perhaps take more photos for these posts, and then land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's incarnation of this post! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
2024 Life Goals
1.) Heal my broken heart, reignite my heart sun, and embody a solid, healthy masculine, allowing my electric fire to shine bright, no matter what others, especially women, say or do.
2.) Bring myself and my life back into balance, integration, and wholeness.
3.) Do regular (naked) integral practices again, alone or with others.
4.) Dance regularly again.
5.) Work with natural entheogens (mushrooms, ganja, ayahuasca), with punctuated regularity, as a part of my healing process again.
6.) Get, and keep, regular deep, integral energy-body-tantric work healing sessions for women flowing again.
7.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
8.) Make my plant nursery beautiful again.
9.) Live as an integral part of a juicy heart-resonant soul tribe community, with deep, coherent mutual and shared passion, purpose, mission, love, warmth care, sweetness, reverence, respect, aliveness, admiration, excitement, enjoyment, playfulness, work, fun, laughter, attraction, and all-level connections and relationships.
10.) Make love with the woman, or the women, that I love, every day, as a sacred devotional practice.
11.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
