Anyone that reads my posts knows that I've been a big fan of the DRIP Project and token for quite a while now, so much so that I made two large investments into acquiring as much DRIP as I was able many months ago. Things were going great, with me quite satisfied with my investment, until yesterday that is. I got a rather rude awaking when I noticed that my daily SWAP.HIVE payout did not come in as usual. When I went to the DRIP Discord server to see what was up, and to communicate that the SWAP.HIVE payout was missed (which in the past was always rectified qukckly), I was very disheartened and dismayed by what I found. In the #announcement channel I read that the daily SWAP.HIVE payouts were being halted immediately, and were being replaced with SPS.

This hit hard, especially considering the hundreds of dollars that I had invested into DRIP, and the fact that I depended on the SWAP.HIVE payouts for my daily token management operations. Given that the price of SPS is very low right now, and the fact the the quantity of SPS that was sent was also small, even selling it didn't even bring in half the SWAP.HIVE that I was receiving from the daily payouts, so it was not a useful replacement for me, at all. While I do understand the reasons that were given for stopping the SWAP.HIVE payouts, honestly this abrupt and very unpleasant change felt like a big slap in the face for investors in the project, like me. It also really doesn't help that DRIP takes more than a month to fully unstake, which I've already begun to do.

I immediately began assessing my options, of which there were not many, as there are very few income tokens that pay out SWAP.HIVE, especially daily, which is the cadence that I require to do what I need to do every day. I looked more closely at the diesel/liquidity pools where I have assets that pay out the most SWAP.HIVE, and in the evening I began heavily increasing my liquidity in those pools, to at least begin rebuilding my daily SWAP.HIVE income.

Just as a heads up to anyone running projects, making major and abrupt changes that are counter to what has been previously communicated to investors and supporters, is absolutely not how do things, and it almost guarantees failure. I'm just really hoping that the price of DRIP is not bottomed out by the time all my DRIP unstakes in a month.

On a slightly different, though related topic, yesterday was the 4th, the day that @stickupcurator stopped curating and payout out LGN daily, so I finally recalled my HP delegation. As soon as my HP is fully returned in 5 days, I'll redelegate to @legionsupport, which as I've mentioned also pays out LGN daily, just at slightly lower APR. One thing that I've learned, sometimes the hard way, is that it is essential to keep up on what's happening with our layer-2 investments, because as we've all seen many times, things can change pretty bloody quickly. In the short term, I'm going to put much more focus on diesel/liquidity pools, as overall they seem to be a lot more stable and reliable over time than most income tokens, plus there's no unstsaking period. In any case, I'll just keep doing my best to adapt and flow as quickly and efficiently as I can with the changes that come to the assets that I hold.

Yesterday, Saturday, after I finished up my Hive tasks around 12:30PM, I prepared for my session with Riana, who arrived on time at 1:30PM. This session was a bit different than usual, as Riana wanted to do a trade, with me working on her this session, and then her working on me in our next session. She so deeply appreciates my work, that she wants me to be her exploration partner in healing sessions, to see what's possible. As such her session was very asymmetrical, but I flowed with it all easefully, which she very much appreciated. We finished by around 5PM, and after she left, I went to the Landing to collect my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, then I headed directly back to the Flow House to get into my evening round of Hive tasks (this is when I found out about the disheartening DRIP news), and to catch up on my notifications. For the first time in three days, I was finally able to get fully caught up on my notifications, super thankfully, by just a little after 10PM, and as soon as I was done, I wrote and published My Entry for Reflection Hunters Contest: Round 200 - Sunny Bamboo Puddle Reflections, and then after some token management, and some assessing and reallocating assets, I went to bed just after 12AM. Unfortunately I didn't sleep so well, waking up about 5AM, doing more token management and asset reallocation, then trying to go back to sleep around 5:30AM, which was only partially successful, waking up again about 8AM, doing another round of token management, starting on this post, then getting out of bed around 8:45AM to go to the Landing to collect more leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, and to milk Daisy with Sol, which went reasonably well. After milking, I took a shower and returned to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 1:30PM, so a very good time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House later in the afternoon to go collect cow food with Sol, and to take more photos for these posts. 2025 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
