Greetings to you all,
It was a stressful day in the market today. Satisfying customers is not easy, especially online customers. Today was different entirely as almost all my online customers rejected the hair (weavon) they bought from me.
I have been in this online business for more than two years, and it has been moving smoothly until today. I had the greatest stress today and still was unable to sell and dispatch the market. Just like the adage that says "if a finger touches oil, it will stain all the fingers", that is exactly what happened to me today.
Some fake and unreliable hair vendors spoiled my market today. Three customers requested hair through online, and after much bargaining, we agreed on a particular amount and they all paid. It was a happy day for me when I received their alert. However, the story changed when they demanded live videos before dispatching the market (weavon). This was due to what other hair vendors had done to them. One of the customers complained to me that she bought hair for #35,000 and it turned to a sponge within six months, hair that was supposed to last for five years or more. It was so painful, and that is why she requested live videos before sending the hair. I said no problem.
Just this morning, I brought out the three hairs (weavons) to do live videos and package it before dispatching it as they requested. I started with customer A. After the video, I sent it to her, and she complained that the weavon did not bob well. I went and rebobbed the hair and sent another video. She accepted that it was fine, and I was so happy. I moved to customer B. I did her video and sent it, and she complained that the hair wasn't full enough as she saw it in the picture. I tried to explain to her that it could only be full like it was in the picture when she combed it or wet it. She said no, and our conclusion was to refund her money. So painful, right? But I will keep moving.
I moved to customer C. After sending her video, she said she loved the hair but it wasn't as long as she saw it in the picture. I tried to explain to her that the picture she saw was dummy, not on a person's head. She demanded that I put it on a dummy, which I did. But she still complained of the same thing and said I should get her a longer hair. I told her that she would need to add more money for the longer hair, and she agreed. So I am still waiting for the remaining balance before I can dispatch the hair.
In conclusion, online marketing is the sweetest business, but sometimes it can attract a lot of stress. However, there is no going back. I will keep pushing.
Thanks for reading.
