Good morning and happy needlework Monday day. This is my first time posting here and I am happy to join the community, today I will be posting about making a beautiful gown I make for my sister. My sister just came to me with this very fabric asking me to help her out that she wanted to wear it to her friend's place so I decided to help, so like I said it was so urgent you know, one funny thing was that I went to buy some materials but I could not find some due to how she said she does not want too much fashion that I should give her joining flay gown and she was waiting for it.
Materials/tools used
- sewing machine
- thread
- scissors
- sewing tape
- hand needle
- chalk etc
So friends I quickly started the process by folding the fabric into two stated With the half-length which I started with the front side she needed a princess cut, i measured the burst using her to have the princess cut it a very short way front and back.
Here is it
I did the same thing to the back side so friends I did take much time because of what I wanted to do before she came and asked me to sew this fabric for her, using this short method to sew pieces is good sometimes because it was I did have any choice than to help her out, so dear friends as I'm done with the back to this is what it looks like.
After that I move down to the flay which is very important it will make the clothes look nice and beautiful I am cutting it full which is full flay here the flay.
I now cut the sleeves on both sides
After cutting the sleeves Joined them, to get the work done I bent the ham round and ironed it all over to make the work look beautiful.
My beloved friends it did not take me much time to finish the work but I was so grateful that I succeeded Sismy ter was so happy because she was looking for a simple gown to wear I wanted to decorate it with a fashionable style but she said no that she has a belt to use with it but normally she does not like too much fashion, she was so happy about the cloth.
Thank you all for stopping by
