CCC's Street Art Contest #140 : Pedicab Driver and His Passenger

in #hive-1847842 years ago

Hello friends in StreetArt Community,My post to contribute to CCC's Street Art contest #140 with admin @digi-me. This afternoon I went to Medan mall to buy some equipment to celebrate Eid al-Fitr. On the way to the city of Medan, I passed Merdeka Medan field, to be precise in front of the entrance to the Medan Train station. I found some street art with bright colors that caught my eye. Along Merdeka Square there are many works of street art. I will show my friends who are street art lovers some of the street art works that I managed to document. The first street art that I discovered was rickshaws. A rickshaw with its driver and passengers.

The thing that stands out the most from this street art is the shape of the pedicab driver's hair. The unique shape of the hair looks like it has been electrocuted, the happy expressions of the pedicab drivers and passengers also make me happy when I see this work of art, there is an extraordinary overflow of joy in this work of art. The pedicab driver's expression, looks "reckless", his body style while riding a pedicab and his facial expressions clearly describe it. What's more, the driver does not wear a helmet when driving a trishaw, if there is a police officer, the pedicab driver will be ticketed for not wearing a helmet.

Beside the picture of the rickshaw driver, I also found a picture of an old couple, but I wasn't sure where to take the documentation, because I couldn't stop and park, there were no car parks along Merdeka Square in Medan. If I'm desperate to park in any place, it will cause traffic jams. Of course I don't want to cause a jam.

A few moments later the light was red, I had the opportunity to take some photos. The next piece of street art I managed to get my hands on was a painting the betel box, based on the details on the betel box, this betel box is in the Malay style. The golden color on the betel box with several strokes on the box, depicts a typical Malay betel box. Street painters express how luxurious this betel box is and there is a feeling of deep happiness with this betel box. We can see this with the details of the flowers and also a butterfly around the betel box.

The betel box signifies the spirit of upholding Malay cultural values. The betel box is also used to welcome special guests and traditional ceremonies that have a sacred and happy meaning, such as celebrating weddings and entering a new house.

Beautiful betel box and found among the green leaves. A precious betel box with stars adorning it. So that the betel box looks luxurious.
