Hello friends in PoB community, My post to contribute to the POBPhotocontest with the ROADS theme, with the admin @friendlymoose. It so happened that when I read this contest, I was on the highway. The car I was in was stopping to top up balance, I had a chance to take some photos. The photo I took came from the toll road that connects the city of Binjai to the city of Medan, to be precise on the Binjai - Helvetia toll roads. The Binjai -Helvetia toll road is a toll road that is often used by residents who live in downtown Medan, because this toll road is the closest toll road from downtown Medan.
Helvetia toll gate, has 3 entrance lanes. Two lanes are used for vehicles with sufficient balance and one lane is used for vehicles with less balance. The entrance for vehicles with insufficient balance status is at the far left entrance. At this entrance, there is no height barrier, therefore the low-balance lane can be used by minibuses and large buses. The road leading to the entrance is marked with white paint and horizontal lines at the toll entrance.
Meanwhile, the road used for the entrance with enough balance is in the middle and right. On roads currently in use for vehicles with heights above 2.1 meters, this road can be passed by loaded trucks and buses with heights above 2.1 meters. While the road on the right is specifically used for minibuses and vehicles with a height of less than 2.1 meters.
Roads on toll roads are smoother than ordinary highways, of course because we pay to pass on this road, I have never seen potholes on toll roads, because if there are indications of damage at toll road points, they will be repaired immediately, of course to maintain comfort drive on the highway.
Thank you for reading my post and a special thanks to @good-karma for supporting this contest with @ecency.
All the photos I took with the cellphone camera on the Iphone 7 plus.
Best regards
