🐌🍄 After the Rain | Mushrooms and Snail

in #hive-151327last year

Bzzz!

We've had a surprisingly rainy week, which is good for my vegetable garden and entrie to #FungiFriday contest by @ewkaw.

The rain stopped dripping less than two hours ago, and tiny champignons are scattered like white beads on a freshly cut field of grass.

There were also a lot of snails around, so I used one for a short time in my mushroom photo shoot. The snail did not mind and did not even want to climb out of its shell!

But upon closer examination, even without a decoy snail, you can notice a lot of living creatures present in the frame.

Grasshopper snail and ants add atmosphere to mushroom shots.

And as always, it turns out that I have more pictures than fantasies, but I need to write something))

I decided to let them grow before cutting them for dinner.

Thank you for sharing the wonders of nature! It's very nice that edible mushrooms grow right there in your field. I wouldn't know edible mushrooms from poisonous ones (except morels - they have such a distinctive shape). I'd be afraid to bring the wrong ones home for dinner!

Sometimes a Google image search yields great results.
It’s good to have an experienced mentor who can help you understand the mushrooms in your region. Without proper experience, this can really be dangerous.

is that musroom? that is like the biggest ones have seen, the others are just tiny clustered attach to wood

Especially surprised by their weight! For a mushroom, this is very unexpected.
Thank you!

Am telling you was in shocked when you wrote its a mushroom, is this type eatable? You know most are and some are poisonous,

Thank you for thanking me☺️

Although I never cooked these mushrooms in advance, I was sure that they were safe.
This mushroom is conditionally edible, and its taste depends on the recipe.

Hmmm dont you cook mushroom soup over there? I heard its delicious and taste like meat. Haven't eaten it once thou but i tend to give it a try someday

I prefer fried mushrooms with some kind of garnish, but it’s better to add dried or pre-fried with spices to the soup for taste

Ohhh i never knew it can be fried, will you look at that guess we learn something everyday.am confused which will be sweeter the cooked or fried?

Sorry, was absent.

It depends on the type of mushroom you are cooking. In any case, it is better to first find out the recipe for your particular mushroom variety and read reviews about these recipes.
I wish you delicious experiments
