Buying a Сan for the Сonstruction of a Monshine Still and Assembling a Cart for it.

Bzzz!

I received my order in the mail yesterday.
And I was surprised to find that the shipping cost was more expensive than the purchase itself.

I am neutral towards alcohol, not that I am for a healthy lifestyle, I just do not like the state of intoxication.
But when I moved to the village, I was horrified to find that moonshine here is the local currency.
For half a liter of moonshine, you can hire helpers for hard work, or exchange it for a bucket of grain.

I was against such relationships, but it turned out that people here are more willing to cooperate and interact for vodka than for money!

After conferring with my family, I decided to invest in a moonshine to make homemade alcohol.
To do this, I need a large metal food container. On the bulletin board, I found a suitable one, at a good price and placed an order.

For this can, the seller had a suitable trolley on good metal wheels.

The surprised courier delivered the parcel directly to the house and hesitantly asked what was inside.
For the first time in his practice, he saw such an original package and at work they had a dispute with colleagues about what might be inside.
Our courier lost the dispute betting that this is a fitness machine)))

Since the seller dismantled the trolley for a more compact package, I had to reassemble it.
According to all the rules of mechanics, it is first necessary to lubricate the seat of the wheel for reliable soft operation and extension of the bushing life.

One wheel done!

We do the same with the second wheel

Here is the second wheel lubricated and fixed in place with a nail

This is what the assembled structure looks like. The wheelbarrow assumes that a heavy can will not have to be lifted by hand

It is enough just to roll the trolley to the can, hook on the handle and tilt the trolley by lifting the can

Very handy tool for transporting a 40 liter aluminum container

Rules of the Road to Join #MarketFriday!

1.Go to any type of market, or anywhere where you pay money for a service. It can be a museum, a movie theatre, or an auction. Be creative!
2.Tell us a little bit about the market or the event. What brought you there? What did you buy? How much did it cost? We like to compare prices, otherwise, it is just pictures of a market!
3.Post the pictures! No out-of-focus ones, please! Tell a little bit about the pictures that you post. Having many pictures to scroll through does not make a better post without explanation.

I have to admit, that certainly is a unique way of paying your gardener! :) So, you bought this piece to make vodka with. How much did it cost you to start your business of sorts?

I am still in denial about the way they trade, but, I have to admit, it is pretty interesting. You will have to tell me how it is working for you!

#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, and eventually branched out and evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, and even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact that these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.

Thank you for being a part of #MarketFriday

I will definitely describe the whole process of making alcohol with sugar, yeast and this can.

This purchase cost me about 15 euros, delivery cost another 15 euros.
Also need to buy a hose to assemble the moonshine still, it is not expensive.

Sounds likeca great deal!
