Namaste to all the Residents of Splinterlands!πŸ™

In this week's 🌟Splinterlands Social Media Challenge🌟 I have chosen a battle which may seem very simple and ordinary at first glance, but a completely new strategy used in it proved to be amazing for me, the full details of which I will share with you today.

So, the total mana cap for this battle was just 13, including the summoner's mana cost as you all know!

Summonerdetails
Underboss Fabino a summoner of the Earth Element whose mana cost was 4. This Summoner can provide +2 melee attack to 2 friendly card OR one card can be poisoned. This is a very good level 1 earth summoner especially when you have a medium to low mana cap.

I usually choose this summoner for its poison power and have chosen it in this battle also to take advantage of it.

Rule set (Standard: no modification)Meaning
As its name suggests, this ruleset made no modifications to the battle.

Cards on the battlefield

1st position (Endless Ape)Ability
Mana cost of this card is 8, It's a melee attack card, having Scavenger Ability this card gains 1 max health each time any unit dies.

And that's it, yes it may seem like a pointless battle at first glance, but with only 13 mana cap, my focus for the battle was on attacking mode as well as on good health. Like my opponent or any normal player, if I add 2-3 cards in the remaining mana after deducting the cost of the summoner, then I would have to compromise with their low health, which would weaken my position in the battle. So, as per my strategy, my summoner's poison and my only but powerful card were ready to fight on my behalf.

I created my team one ape army by using all mana caps.

Now I will take you to the battlefield!

This is how the battlefield looked after all the monsters received their summoner powers. The first part of my strategy starts with the selection of my summoner. Since the mana cap was very low, I needed an additional power that could cause damage to the enemy. So I chose Underboss Fabino for his poison. Except that, I knew if my opponent had higher level cards then it would be very difficult for me to win this battle, but if he had the same card options to choose from, I knew that if he added more cards in such low mana, health would definitely be compromised. That's why I used all my remaining mana cap to add 1 card whose health, attacking power, and ability were all good.

Now let's see what happens on the battlefield!

πŸ”₯Round 1 (Battle Begins)

In this scene, you can see the end of the first round. Where my ape's attack damaged the enemy's shield and the enemy's attacks also took away my ape's shield and one health. But there is yet another interesting incident to happen. Yes, the effect of my summoner's poison which you will see as soon as the next round begins.

πŸ”₯Round 2

This is the damage that doesn't require my cards to do anything because it's part of my summoner's power, which will cause a poison effect on a card I choose at the start of each round.

πŸ”₯Round 2 (somewhere in the middle)

At the beginning of the second round, after the effect of the poison, the enemy has only 2 health left, which was taken away from him by a single attack of my Ape.

Now my opponent and I have only one card left on the battlefield but you can clearly see that my card is better than the enemy in every aspect, whether it is health, attacking power, or speed. My card is in a dominating position but until the war ends completely, it cannot be said who won and who lost.

I can add some more screenshots, but through that, you might not be able to understand the importance of this simple strategy. This is why I want you to watch it from the beginning because this simple understanding-based strategy of mine can help you a lot in such a situation.

You can enjoy my battle here and understand why analyzing the enemy and mana cap before the battle starts can prove to be very beneficial for you. If you have an idea of how your enemy can react in a particular situation, then take it as you have taken a big step towards your victory.😎

Underboss Fabino is a strong summoner. You can eliminate key monsters from your opponent's side if you played him smart.

It really is a great summoner. All we need is a nice strategy!
