I am go to list the cards that I think will accompany us throughout our playing time in Splinterlands, they will also be the cheapest cards and will help for the future Modern format, which will do what newcomers playing. However, make your research and make your own ranking of cards for the next Modern format, I think it's a good idea to buy as many as possible every month.
I am going to focus on the common, rare and some epic cards, I am not going to look too much at the legendary ones because there are two combat modifiers that eliminate the ability to use them (Rise of the Commons and Lost Legendaries)

Chaos Legion's essential neutral cards from the beginning are Xenith Monk, since from level two he obtains healing and will accompany us until the gold league and beyond. At level six he gains void, which reduces magic attacks, as well as healing with seven health and four speed, which is above average.
Another card is Supply Runner, common that from level five, Silver League, gives us one speed to all other friendly monsters; having two range attack, four of speed (which is above average) and above is increased by one and five life. At level 10, the maximum, he has three ranged attack, 5+1 speed (six is the maximum written on the card) and six (5 + 1) of life giving a speed and a life to the rest of his teammates.
The last card that I would bet on would be the Chaos Agent, a card that costs one mana, that can always fill a gap, that gains life and speed, the first ability that it obtains at level two is dodge, that increases the chances of dodging body attacks, since little and at a distance, at level six, which would be a silver league, he gains a phase that also avoids magical attacks, and at level 10, maximum level, he receives Back Fire, which is the ability in which if an enemy it cannot damage it, taking into account that it has four speed, dodge and phase, which is magical, since the attacker receives damage for failing.
The Venari Spellsmith is interesting but I don't need the Dispel and Amplify, a card that can be fine if you have some coins left over. There are other common cards like Scavo Heireling and Disintegrator or Rares like Xénith Archer that can be nice if combined with your play style.
From the collection Dice having a copy of Rams, which is the that has an attack for two manas and a life with opportunist (attacks the monster with less life) is always good.
From Untamed I am not going to recommend any card, although it is true that they are all interesting to some extent but not necessary.
And from Rewards the Sand Worm, the worm that for nine mana has five melee attack and has five life.
The one that I do see as essential is Uraeus, a card that costs $0.34 and gives 100 power. That as you increase in league it is more necessary and playable, until it becomes essential in many lineups.
All of these cards are undervalued and I think it's a good idea to buy as many as you can each month. Anyway, do your research and make your own MVP list for the upcoming Modern format.
My plans for the next season is to stabilize myself in GOLD Leage and spend few resources if I can go up to GOLD I until I get my own cards to go up to this league, advancing step by step.

Voy a listar las cartas que creo que nos van acompañar en todo nuestro tiempo de juego en Splinterlands, además van a ser las cartas más económicas y servirán para el futuro formato Modern, que va a hacer lo que más van a jugar los recién llegados. De todas maneras investiga y haz tu propia ranking de cartas para el próximo formato Modern, creo que es una buena idea ir comprando cada mes las que se puedan.
Me voy a centrar en las cartas comunes, raras y alguna épica, no voy a mirar demasiado las legendarias debido que hay dos modificadores de combate que eliminan el poder usarlas (Rise of the Commons y Lost Legendaries)

Las cartas neutrales de Chaos Legión imprescindibles desde el inicio son Xenith Monk, ya que a partir de nivel dos obtiene curación y nos va acompañar hasta la liga oro y más allá. Al nivel seis obtiene vacío, que reduce los ataques mágicos, además de curación con siete vida y cuatro velocidad, que está por encima de la media.
Otra carta es Supply Runner, común que a partir de nivel cinco, liga de Plata nos da una velocidad a todos los demás monstruos amigos, teniendo dos de ataque (a distancia),cuatro de velocidad (que está por encima de la media) y encima se incrementa en uno y cinco de vida. A partir de aquí va incrementando un punto de vida, otro punto de ataque a distancia y en el nivel 10, el máximo, tiene tres de ataque a distancia, 5+1 de velocidad (seis es el máximo escrito en carta) y seis (5+1) de vida dándole una velocidad y una vida al resto de sus compañeros.
La última carta por la que yo apostaría sería por el Chaos Agent, una carta de coste uno de mana, que siempre puede rellenar un hueco, que va ganando vida y velocidad, la primera habilidad que obtiene en nivel dos es esquiva (dodge), que incrementa las probabilidades de esquivar ataques cuerpo pues poco y a distancia, a nivel seis que sería liga de plata, gana fase que también elude los ataques mágicos, y a nivel 10 nivel máximo, recibe Back Fire que es la habilidad en la que si un enemigo no consigue dañarlo, teniendo en cuenta que tiene cuatro de velocidad, esquiva y fase que es para que mágico, pues el atacante recibe daño por fallar.
El Venari Spellsmith es interesante pero yo el Dispel y Amplify no lo necesito una carta que puede estar bien si te sobra algo de monedas.Hay otras cartas comunes como el Scavo Heireling y Disintegrator o Raras como el el Xénith Archer que pueden estar bien si se combina con tu forma de jugar.
De la colección Dice tener una copia de Rams, que es la cabrita que por dos de mana tiene un ataque y una vida, con oportunista (ataca al monstro con menos vida) siempre está bien.
De Untamed no voy a recomendar ninguna carta, si bien es cierto que es todas son interesantes en cierta medida pero no necesarias.
Y de Rewards el Sand Worm, el gusano que por nueve de mana tiene cinco de ataque melé y tiene cinco de vida.
La que sí que veo imprescindible es Uraeus, una carta que cuesta $0,34 y da 100 de poder. Que a medida que incrementas de liga es más necesaria y jugable, hasta convertirse en imprescindible en muchas alineaciones.
Todas estas cartas están infravaloradas y creo que es una buena idea ir comprando cada mes las que se puedan. De todas maneras investiga y haz tu propia lista de MVP para el próximo formato Modern.
Mis planes para la temporada siguiente es estabilizarme en la liga de Oro III y gastar pocos recursos si puedo subir a Liga de Oro hasta conseguir cartas propias para subir a esta liga, avanzando paso a paso.
