"When you're here at the seaside, it feels like you are so far away from the Metropolis... but it's not."
Last Monday, January 2, my partner asked me to go to their apartment immediately so that I could join his daughter's scheduled celebration at a big and famous restaurant in Pasay City. Actually, I was having second thoughts about going because there was a conflict with my schedule, but because I didn't want to upset him because it was his daughter's birthday, I went anyway. We arrived there before 3 o'clock in the afternoon, and we saw that his sister and mother were already there in line. Since we didn't book a reservation here at Vikings Buffet, we had to line up early for the dinner buffet slot.
But since we will have to wait a few more hours before entering the restaurant, my partner and I decided to look for another buffet restaurant in case our slot doesn't open. Because of the number of people who are at the seaside, many have booked for a dinner buffet, and imagine that as of 9 a.m. that day, the reservation was said to be fully booked. But still, we still took a slot, and it's a good thing that we were given one.
Since it was still a few hours before dinner, we took that time to hung out at the seaside.
It's really nice to go here to the Baywalk any day because the weather is still fresh and you can see some of the malls that you can visit everywhere. Near the end of the Baywalk is the "SM Mall of Asia", one of the largest malls in Asia.
Going back to seaside, we really enjoyed hanging out here because the weather wasn't that hot. In fact, the weather is still variable because a few minutes before the sun peeks out, the rain will fall again, and soon, the heat will return. But still, it was a beautiful day when we went because I was able to collect some very beautiful photos.
Even though there were so many people flocking here to Seaside, I still managed to take good pictures. My partner and I were able to talk well in person because there is a part of the seaside that is less crowded.
And yeah, we even managed to take a cute picture as the rain started to pour.
I believe we entered Viking's Restaurant around 6:30 p.m. Even though we waited outside for a few hours, it was worth it because while we were waiting, they also offered popcorn as complimentary food.
Okay, this is the end of my story because the following events are all about food. Anyway, Happy New Year Wednesday Walk Community! I hope my photographs made you smile. This will be my entry for the Wednesday Challenge initiated by sir @tattoodjay featuring the #makemesmile concept by @elizacheng. Thank you!
