Complement of the season to you all. It’s another amazing day of creativity, today I created a paper toy and guess what I gave it a name “zuzu” the name of my toy is Zuzu, I named it after one of the toys I had when I was a kid, I treasured it so much back then but unfortunately I lost it, my Zuzu fell into a gutter I remembered how I cried that day. So today I made something in memory of my toy.
So I will tell you guys how I made my Zuzu
PROCEDURES
- The materials I used were; a yellow, cardboard, poster colour (red), pencil, eraser, scissors, gum, a circular paper tape etc
- I used the circular paper tape to mark out a circle on the cardboard
- I used a smaller circular substance to draw a smaller circle
- I drew two eyes on the smaller circle, I drew the ears, the nose and the tongue
- I use the circular paper tape to draw out six circles
- I carved out the circles to have six circular shapes
- I folded them individually and joined three of the shapes with a gum
- I carved out the toy
- I added a red colour to the tongue and also made a blush on the cheeks with red colour
- I gum the folded paper to the body of the toy
- I attached gum and a robe at the back
- I equally qum the other folded paper at the back
- I left it for some time for the gum to dry
- Boom! my zuzu is ready.
I successfully created another Zuzu though it is not exactly the same as the one I had but I’m glad I did something out of my papers.
