Hello! It is a pleasure to greet you. I am Liz Fernàndez, of Venezuelan nationality with 29
years of age. I have become interested in Hive for the opportunity to share my interest in
different artistic disciplines.
A few years ago I would have preferred to reserve all the content only for myself, but in the
process of cultivating self-confidence and giving a window of opportunity to everything I do,
I have been taking advantage of any space to interact with other people who, like me, enjoy
the beautiful and tangible freedom that art offers us.
In 2010 I graduated as a Specialist Teacher in Plastic Arts, in the same year I began
photography studies, but for different reasons I did not finish the degree, and I am currently
close to studying Accounting along with my work performance as an integral teacher with
students of 4th, 5th and 6th grade of primary education.
¡Hola! Es un placer saludarlos. Soy Liz Fernàndez, de nacionalidad venezolana con 29 años de edad. Me he interesado en Hive por la oportunidad de compartir mi interés en diferentes disciplinas artísticas.
Algunos años atrás hubiese preferido reservarme todo el contenido únicamente para mí, pero en el proceso de cultivar la confianza en mí misma y de regalarle una ventana de oportunidades a todo lo que hago, he estado aprovechando cualquier espacio para interactuar con otras personas que al igual que yo, disfruten de la hermosa y tangible libertad que nos ofrece el arte.
En el año 2010 me titulé como Profesora Especialista en Artes Plásticas, en el mismo año inicié estudios de fotografía, pero por diferentes motivos no culminé la carrera, y actualmente estoy próxima a estudiar Contaduría a la par de mi desempeño laboral como maestra integral con estudiantes de 4to, 5to y 6to grado de educación primaria.
I devote much of my time to reading and writing, I consider myself an amateur writer who finds relief and consolation in the art of writing. Since I was a child I have had this inclination, I easily created children's stories and as time went by I became interested in poetry and police investigation books. I currently have a personal blog where you can find 5 collections of poems totally of my authorship, and I work on a biographical book inspired by the Diary of Anne Frank and a crime research novel that mixes fiction with reality; the latter two are in process.
Among my literary influences I could mention Julio Cortázar, Dante Alighieri, Edgar Allan Poe, Charles Bukowski, Rosario Castellanos, Friedrich, Charles Baudelaire, Agatha Christie, among others, who at the moment I cannot remember.
During my college preparation I had the opportunity to walk around and marry other artistic disciplines, but if I had to choose I would stick with writing, I would honestly love to be a professional writer. Although I have been trying to create the habit of going for a walk to continue drawing with the light, discipline that I have had somewhat abandoned, although I am equally passionate about it. I have also been resuming my interest in painting and drawing, which is characterized by looking for my own stamp, distinctive strokes that can differentiate me from the crowd, detached from the "perfect" and looking for the spontaneity of a sentient and thinking being. I have also worked scarcely with ceramics and sculpture, both beautiful and magical, since the essence of your being is impregnated in each piece; I think they are beautiful and at the same time complicated.
I still have a lot to learn, I am not an expert in any discipline and my performance in them is much more empirical than academic, I am simply a person like any other who has found in art a way to make his existence more bearable, which by different circumstances sometimes becomes a titanic task.
Dedico gran parte del tiempo a la lectura y a la escritura, me considero a mí misma como una escritora amateur que encuentra alivio y consolación en el arte de escribir. Desde pequeña he tenido dicha inclinación, creaba con facilidad cuentos infantiles y a medida que pasaba el tiempo me fui interesando por la poesía y por los libros de investigación policial. Actualmente cuento con un blog personal en el que pueden encontrar 5 poemarios totalmente de mi autoría, y trabajo en un libro biográfico inspirado en el Diario de Ana Frank y en una novela de investigación policial que mezcla la ficción con la realidad; estos dos últimos están en proceso.
Entre mis influencias literarias podría mencionar a Julio Cortázar, Dante Alighieri, Edgar Allan Poe, Charles Bukowski, Rosario Castellanos, Friedrich, Charles Baudelaire, Agatha Christie, entre otros, que en estos momentos no logro recordar.
Durante mi preparación universitaria tuve la oportunidad de pasearme y casarme con otras disciplinas artísticas, pero si tuviera que elegir me quedaría con la escritura, honestamente me encantaría ser escritora profesional. Aunque he estado tratando de crear el habito de salir a caminar para seguir dibujando con la luz, disciplina que he tenido algo abandonada, aunque igualmente me apasiona. Tambien he estado retomando mi interés por la pintura y el dibujo, el cual se caracteriza por buscar mi propio sello, trazos distintivos que puedan diferenciarme de entre la multitud, desapegada de lo “perfecto” y buscando la espontaneidad de un ser sintiente y pensante. Tambien he trabajado escasamente con la cerámica y la escultura, ambas hermosas y mágicas, puesto que la esencia de tu ser se queda impregnada en cada pieza; considero que son preciosas y al mismo tiempo complicadas.
Aún me queda muchísimo por aprender, no soy experta en ninguna disciplina y mi desempeño en ellas es mucho más empírico que académico, simplemente soy una persona como cualquier otra que ha encontrado en el arte una manera de hacer más llevadera su existencia, que por diferentes circunstancias a veces se convierte en una tarea titánica.
I can't go ahead with my presentation without mentioning that I have two beautiful furry, stalwart beings who have inspired most of my love poems. I don't overlook any opportunity to show them off and this will be no exception. I have been given a more empathetic vision for respect for others, regardless of race, religion, social status, nationality or color; they have given a beautiful awakening to my soul and are so perfect that no adjective is enough to describe them.
No puedo seguir adelante con mi presentación sin mencionar que tengo dos hermosos peluditos, seres incondicionales que han inspirado la mayoría de mis poemas sobre el amor. No dejo pasar por alto cualquier oportunidad para presumirlos y esta no será la excepción. Me han regalado una visión mas empática por el respeto hacia los demás, sin importar su raza, religión, condición social, nacionalidad o color; le han regalado un hermoso despertar a mi alma y son tan perfectos que ningún adjetivo me alcanza para describirlos.
Finally, I will mention in broad strokes what I consider to be the most distinctive characteristics of my personality, starting by saying that my social circle is made up of few people, due to my selective and sometimes distrustful nature, but despite this, I have also been interested in meeting people from different nationals to nourish myself from their cultures.
I consider myself quite observant, polite and kind, but without confusing respect with trust, or kindness with flirting. I think it is important to maintain our essence and not adapt it to the expectations or demands of others, we must remain in the places and with the people where we can be, and, above all, be.
The relationships I cultivate are based on respect and honesty, and I've never been forced to be with the one I don't want. I am a person who enjoys spending time alone, knowing that there is a big difference between being alone and feeling lonely. I like to believe that I am dedicated, responsible, creative, intuitive, reserved, discreet and empathetic.
For now, I would like to continue getting to know the Hive platform, meet different people and get the most out of it as possible. Thank you very much for stopping by my presentation.
Para finalizar, mencionaré a grandes rasgos lo que considero podrían ser las características más distintivas de mi personalidad, comenzando por decir que mi circulo social está conformado por pocas personas, debido a mi naturaleza selectiva y a veces desconfiada, pero a pesar de ello, también me he interesado por conocer a personas de diferentes nacionales para nutrirme de sus culturas.
Me considero bastante observadora, educada y amable, pero sin confundir el respeto con la confianza, ni la amabilidad con el coqueteo. Me parece importante mantener nuestra esencia y no adecuarla a las expectativas o exigencias de los demás, debemos permanecer en los lugares y con las personas en donde podamos estar, y, sobre todo, ser.
Las relaciones que cultivo son basadas en el respeto y la honestidad, y nunca me he visto obligada a estar con quien no deseo. Soy una persona que disfruta pasar tiempo a solas, sabiendo que hay una gran diferencia entre estar solo y sentirse solo. Me gusta creer que soy dedicada, responsable, creativa, intuitiva, reservada, discreta y empática.
Por lo pronto, me gustaría seguir conociendo la plataforma de Hive, conocer diferentes personas y sacarle todo el provecho como me sea posible. Muchas gracias por pasarte por mi presentación.
