Gone where those days when Mavis Beacon is one of the easiest way to build your typing speed, it was fun while it last. I have always having this passion to be fast when typing since junior secondary school because that was the first time I really sat down to use the computer unlike my primary school days and at some point and there was this student that is actually a pro when it come to typing and it was as if she was too proud of it because the rest of us were novice so somehow I was feeling the heat and had to task myself that one day I will leave the league of those that look at the keyboard alphabet by alphabet before they can type anything.
At some point before our final Jssce exam, an institute offer to train us and I grabbed the offer but we didn't learn much so I went back for proper 6months training which was really fun because I learnt lot of things about the computer and also get to build my typing skills from novice to at least a pro using mavis beacon which wasn't that easy especially when it come to adding symbols or sing to what you are typing. Nowadays, if I see anyone looking at the keyboard before they can type, I will just smile because it is really easy now to get softwares or site to train you on how to type fast in a fun way. I recently came across this gaming word typing site named zty and as a gaming guy, I just gave it a try to see how nice the site is.
I love the site because it is really straight forward, no need to register once you load the site and you don't need any registration, the new game option is to enter the game play which is like this fighter jet game we use to play back in the days, once it load, you will see different words coming down like asteroids which you need to type in accordingly, once you start a word, you have to input all letters before you can type in the next word, it comes in section (wave) and I think it is in story format, once you are done with one phase it start another.
you can easy play around on the site and build your typing speed so you can leave that novice level to be a typing pro.
