Hi all, it is the 1st of February 2025, in a blink of an eye, one month in 2025 just zoomed past us. And once again, it Hive Power Up Day! It's been a great month as we load up into the new year and get our engines moving after all the festive season towards the end of December and early January. Let's continue to show our support for the blockchain we all love and a fair bit of time on and take part in Hive Power Up Day!
I have participated in Hive Power Up Day since October 2022, the journey since then had been nothing less than awesome. I still remembered how I started with 315HP back then when I first participated in this Power Up initiative. From that month on, on every month running, I would try my best to take part and show my support to the blockchain. Hive is a very unique community that is filled with loads of information, special interest, life sharing and many more. It is also a community that has so much support found in it where people help and support one another. And it is exactly all these amazing characteristic that we should render the support and build up the community by powering up our Hive.
Hive Power Up Day, What is it?
Hive Power Up Day occurs on the first day of each month where the community come together to stake their Hive to become Hive Power. Through this, our account gets powered up!

By powering up our account, what does it bring?
- Increase our influence in the block chain, in terms of voting power on content, witnesses and proposals
- With a much higher Hive Power, we get more curation rewards and improve our earnings.
- Passive earning of 3% per annum

Hive Power Up January Month 2025
A brand new start to a new year, it was a month of really good growth which allowed me to ride on the momentum to get good growth in this month. While the amount is not as much as what I have gathered in the month of December, it was a very decent growth amount in January.
My growth in HP in the first month of 2025 manage to gathered me 585 HP which is a good figure added to my growth, my sincere thanks to everyone whom had given me their support!
Every growth that I've managed improves my influence in the blockchain.

Similar to November, I am part of the 31 people whom have been awarded this badge and I am really thankful for it.

Concluding
Hive is an awesome community to be in. Loads of interaction, sharing of ideas, helping out one another and most importantly, a closely knitted family. It is unique yet special where people grow together. Let us continue to walk together as we continue to grow this comunity.
I am working in the background to enable some form of passive earning to fund the next Hive Power Day, it might not be able to fund sufficiently right now for even 1 Hive per month, but with consistency I am putting in to build up of what I am doing, I am certain one day it will be able to fund the base requirement for the power up day! Right now while everything is still rather low in terms of passive hive gains, but I am strengthening each source to ensure I have enough for power up for each month. And I also seek your every support to walk with me to meet this further stretched goal. Many of you have given me so much support to allow me to reach where I am today.
