Greetings to the entire Hive Open Mic family. I'm Veli Özdemiroğlu and this is my first music video in Hive Open Mic. That's why I'm really excited. In the first video, I wanted to present a very special composition. Our song is called Exile. His words contain separation, loneliness and longing. That's a sad song. The composer of the song is Zülfü Livaneli, one of Turkey's most famous famous musicians.
Zülfü Livaneli is a man of thought and art who has devoted his life to music, literature and cinema. From past to present, he has 36 music albums and 28 novels translated into different languages. Apart from these, he has also worked as a film director. Not to mention the tens of awards he has put into his 70-year life. It is also worth mentioning that the works produced by Zülfü Livaneli have a protest style.
The song "Exile" is one of the most special songs in the album named "Grey For Everyone". Another famous singer, Sezen Aksu, accompanies her in this song. In short, it is a very special and delicious piece of music musically. It activates the emotions. I tried to perform with these feelings.
In addition, this composition was used in the very old Turkish movie "Sürü". At the link below, you can listen to both the spoken version of the song and the old version used in the movie "Sürü". Zülfü Livaneli hayatını müziğe, edebiyata ve sinemaya adamış tam bir düşünce ve sanat insanı. Geçmişten bugüne kadar 36 müzik albümü, farklı dillere çevrilmiş 28 de romanı var. Bunların dışında kendisinin film yönetmenliği yapmışlığı da var. 70 yıllık ömrüne sığdırdığı onlarca ödül de cabası. Sürgün şarkısı da Gökyüzü Herkesindir isimli albümünde yer alan en özel şarkılardan birisi. Başka bir ünlü şarkıcı Sezen Aksu da bu şarkıda kendisine eşlik ediyor. Kısacası müzikal olarak çok özel, çok lezzetli bir eserdir. Duyguları harekete geçirir. Ben de bu hislerle icra etmeye çalıştım.
