Today I took advantage of the great weather and the good position of the moon to plant some beds of peas.
Over the weekend @outlinez and I prepared the beds and today the peas just had to be planted.
We chose two varieties of peas.
One is called Avola - which is a high-yielding early variety whose plants reach a height of 65-70 cm. Its pods are 12 cm long and each one contains 8-9 grains. The vegetation period is 59 days.
The second variety we chose is Television.
It is for late harvest with a growing season of 45-75 days.
Its plants reach a height of up to 80 cm, and the grains are wrinkled and have a sweet taste. Its pods are 11-13 cm long and each one contains 8-9 grains.
I read the information about the two varieties of peas from the packaging of the manufacturer - Opal Z. I will be watching the growth of the plants with great interest.
