Family, Fun, and Pets: A Review of The Secret Life of Pets 2

I've always been a big fan of animated movies. Right from the start, I usually found myself glued to the screen when I saw a cartoon being shown on the TV, and I've grown up to still love it, and today I'll love to share a review of one of the most recent ones I just watched, titled Secret Life of Pets, part two. Part one was released a few years ago, and I really enjoyed the storyline and every single adventure simulated in it, and with that anticipation, I rushed to watch part two as soon as I learned it was released, and I must say that I wasn't disappointed at all.

The movie began in an open field, like a park, where families go to have a great time with their family, and there we saw all sorts of pets and families, especially children, and in that scene we can hear Max, the main character, a pet dog, complain about his dislike for children and how they literally stole the attention of their owners from the pet to the new baby they just had, although from the conversation it's obvious that Duke, the other dog owned by their owner, doesn't share the same ideology, but he rides along with Duke's opinion.

Not long after that particular scene, their owner bumped into a stranger one day while walking her dog, and the rest was history, because she ended up becoming close to that stranger named Chuck, and they ended up having a cute little boy named Liam.

Even though at first Max was reserved about the idea of the baby due to his anxiety problem, he ended up loving Liam and treating him like an egg that just needed to be watched and cared about at every single time.

Max's anxiety issues grew to the brim, to a point where he literally scratches himself each time he has one, and when Katie, his owner, notices this, she takes him to a vet to help rectify the issue. There, a restriction plastic was put around his neck to prevent those scratchings, and although he didn't buy the ideal, his concern about it soon faded away when he was told the family would be going on a field trip to see, there his anxiety issues continued, but then it was there he overcame it all thanks to Rooster, a Welsh Sheepdog, that was owned by the relative they stayed with at the farmhouse.

On the other hand, the rest of the pets in that neighborhood where Max Duke and their owner family used to stay were also having their own intriguing adventures. My favorite character, Snowball the bunny, was playing superhero to his owner, and on one of those occasions, he was charged to perform his duty as a real superhero by saving a tiger that was captured by a showman. This led to a series of adventures and fights between the other pets and the guard wolves the showman had where he kept the tiger captive.

Overall, it was all fun and an animated movie I enjoyed, but then if I were to compare it with the first part of the movie, then I'll definitely say part one is much better in everything, both in storyline, the adventures, and suspense, while this part two doesn't live up to the expectations I had for it, even though I enjoyed it; it didn't meet what I anticipated, and so I'll give it a rating of 5/10.

Thanks so much for your time.
