Recently, I was listening to the podcast by Boss @khaleelkazi when he and his feeder in the podcast were talking about how spammy threading has become in that the sole purpose of threading when it comes to the aspect of engagement is not fully actualised. He emphasized the fact that people are using the space and avenue created by thread to promote their posts consistently rather than engaging more on thread.
In affirmation of this, some hours ago a post was published by the Leofinance team on the Leofinance community, and this subject matter was discussed. Not just that this was discussed, but then ways to tackle it were still implemented to show that the founders of the leofinance community and boss @khaleelkazi were not messing around when he talked about it on his podcast. I can still recall vividly the recent update when it was said that the main reason for implementing this new feature that will mitigate the extent to which links are published on threads is not to totally stop the posting of links but rather to bring a caution to it, and as such, conditions and specifications are to be met before links are published. He also said that this has already started in Discord, and he's complaining of how spammy and messy the channel on Discord is when it comes to link dropping at the moment and that such won't be allowed on a free hand in this thread.
Activating the Overhauling Process
To mitigate the spammy link dropping on threads, seeing that a thread on its own is a whole universe on the hive blockchain itself, the recent update on features about threads has it that one can actually customize his or her dashboard when seeing links to posts.
The customizability of Web3 and that, especially on threads, is already playing out in that one can actually determine and decide what to behold in his space. Apparently, this feature added to the thread now has an impressive role to play much more, and it is as follows:

The rate and extent of link posting on threads or that appears on one's dashboard have been mitigated.

The main threaders and the link droppers have been separated, and as such, engagement has already been encouraged on threading.
The overhauling process has already begun, though others might follow suit, but caution has been taken and the right perspective of engagement has been turned on.
