Analogue heaven - PhotoFeed Contest - Black & White Photog

in #hive-1949132 months ago

Hello friends. The new week just started in the same busy manner as all the previous week before it. It will be shorter than my usual work-weeks due to the whole firm day off, which i hope to spend for photography, probably analog photography. But let's see :-)

This series i photographed in of the oldies kibbutz here in the center of my country. The special thing i can say about this place that there is open-air flea market event happening here every first weekend of every month. People from different areas of the country are coming to find something old/used/ancient. I think that next time i will take some images of the sellers stoles with an interesting stuff which they are exposing there.

Every time when i'm coming there, after the visiting the market, i'm take a walk in the abandoned corners of the village with th goal to find something interesting for my eyes and my camera. There are many and these corners are changing from time to time - people move the stuff from one place to another. Different light conditions, different weather condition and the different state of my mind conditions - everything is affects the look and the mood of the frames i see and capture on the film.

But the film is always remain black and white - what is absolutely feeding the name and the rules of this contest.

All the frames taken with my 40 years old Yashica T2 point and shoot camera. It's fully automatic and this the only thing i don't like about this camera. I prefer to have some manual control as ISO settings, focusing distance control, and to revert the flash from the defaultly enable to defaultly disables. These days I'm looking for another P&S with the mentioned characteristics.

I publish this post as a part of my contribution to the 📸 PhotoFeed Contest - Black & White Photography Round 84 - https://ecency.com/hive-153349/@photofeed/photofeed-contest-black-and-white-photography-round-84 hosted by @photofeed

The old Volvo. Seems like it's old like this camera :-)

I developed this roll of the AGFA expired in 1995 in the standard Kodak d-76 1:1 solution at box speed as it was photographed.

The camera and the celluloid:

For these who are still love to hang a prints to their walls or to use a postcards to write one the back some beautiful word to their loved ones.
