Das System gibt es auch bei vielen Thermen, ist jetzt nicht so super neu :)
Abgesehen davon, die Abschaffung des Bargelds ist ein Schritt auf dem Weg zur totalen Kontrolle der Menschen. Daher sollte man cashless-Betriebe und -Events boykottieren!

Bargeld wird immer teurer und daher muss man sich darüber im klaren sein, dass es das wohl bald kaum noch oder gar nicht geben wird.

Worin siehst du da genau die Problematik?

Erstens in der Überwachung. Jede Transaktion wird getrackt und man kann genau wissen, wo Du bist und was Du machst.
Zweitens die Bekämpfung regimekritischer Meinungen. Von unbequemen Leuten kann man so auf Knopfdruck das Konto sperren ("debanking") und ohne Bargeld haben sie es dann noch schwerer. Das passiert sogar jetzt schon, Martin Sellner´s Konto wurde bei zig Banken aufgekündigt. Man musste ihn nur oft genug in den Medien als "Rechtsextremist" titulieren. Die Banken spielen (fast) alle mit. Wenn es keine Alternative zu einer Bank gibt, wird es noch viel schlimmer werden.
Aber stimmt, für regimetreuen Schlafschafe ist nichts Negatives zu erwarten.
Aber sogar Linke sollte dagegen sein, denn falls einmal doch eine rechte Regierung an die Macht kommt, wird es der Antifa nicht mehr so gut gehen wie heute (also ähnliche Repressionen wie seit Jahren gegen die AfD). D.h. in jeden Fall ist es besser, dass der Bürger mehr Freiheit hat. Ist ein Stück Freiheit einmal weg, wird es so bald nicht mehr wiederkommen.
Und natürlich der Steueraspekt, ohne Bargeld ist es noch schwerer, Werte beiseitezuschaffen, um der Steuerwillkür zu entfliehen.

I have never been to one but it sounds like the amazon stores where people didn't have to pay. I think it's more involved with people but I think it's an interesting system.

Ich war kürzlich auf so einem Festival und fand es recht praktisch. Den Leute vorzuschreiben, wie sie zahlen können, finde ich fraglich aber für mich war es gut. Ohne Portemonnaie oder Geld in der Tasche aufs Gelände hat schon sehr viel Freiheit (auch allein fürs tanzen) geschaffen. Ich glaaaaube sogar, dass die gelddienstleister die Kohle vorübergehend anlegen - auch ziemlich fraglich... ^^

Finde es nicht gut, es verleitet dazu mehr Geld auszugeben, "jetzt habe ich 50€ aufgeladen, die sollte ich zumindest verbrauchen" sicher ist es kein Zwang aber unbewusst im Hinterkopf ist es sicher bei einigen so. Wenn dann die Rücküberweisung auch noch etwas dauert dann wird das noch verstärkt.

Bei größeren Festivals macht das sicherlich Sinn, da Bargeld auch Kosten verursacht und ggf. bei einem Festival gar nicht so wenig.

Bin kein Festivalgänger, war ende Mai in Hannover und da konnte man nur Bar bezahlen, was echt blöd war, weil wir nicht so viel mit hatten. "Noch nicht überall mit Karte zahlen, es steht aber ein Automat auf dem Gelände" stand auf der Seite, aber irgendwie hatte ich gar keinen Stand gesehen mit Kartenzahlung.

I'm skeptical of those types of systems. From an efficiency and ease of use perspective they make a lot of sense if they work properly. I'm sure that they reduce line ups a great deal which is awesome and probably also help with theft. The parts that I don't like are:

paying additional money for the system. That just seems crazy to me, especially since most cards are tap to pay anyway, which is the same as a tap to pay wrist band. The system is basically just an extra way of making money for the festival. Its the equivalent of forced purchase merchandise.
The reimbursement part. I don't know how it works exactly but in my opinion that part needs to be absolutely simple and user friendly. I feel like a lot of people won't be bothered to reclaim small amounts or people may lose their wristbands or something before trying to reclaim. A person forgetting or abandoning a small amount like 2-5€ isn't a lot for the individual, but on a massive scale that translates to a lot of money for the festival. If the reimbursement process is as simple as pushing a button then that's cool. If it involves making a phone call or going to a special kiosk in the festival that is hard to find or has any line up whatsoever, then I think its bullshit.

Good points, I think unused money should be reimbursed automatically right after the festival without long waiting times.
