Wie hoch werden die Fed-Zinsen diesmal steigen? Schockierende historische Fakten.
Wenn man sich die Geschichte der Zinserhöhungen der Fed nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg anschaut, sieht man, dass es eine ähnlich dramatische Situation in den 1970-er und Anfang der 80-er Jahre gegeben hat.
Ende 1980, Anfang 1981 sind die Zinsen sogar kurzfristig auf fast 20% gestiegen, während die offizielle Verbraucherpreis-Inflation zweistellig wurde.
In den 70-er Jahren sind ebenfalls gleich mehrere ungünstige Ereignisse zusammengekommen.
Zuallererst markiert 1971 den Beginn des Fiatsystems, nachdem Nixon die Golddeckung des Dollar (Goldstandard) "temporär" ausgesetzt hat. Dem exzessiven Gelddrucken (Inflation) wurde damit in den kommenden Jahren und Jahrzehnten Tür und Tor geöffnet.
Dazu kommen die Nachwirkungen der verheerenden militärischen Niederlage der USA in Vietnam Ende der 1960-Jahre und der Abzug der Truppen in den 1970-er Jahren unter Nixon.
1973 und 1979/1980 kam es dann zu zwei aufeinanderfolgenden Ölkrisen. Ölpreisschock. Die offizielle (geschönte) Inflation stieg auf 11% bzw. 13%.
Und dann kam es 1979 auch noch zur jahrelangen (444 Tage dauernden) Geiselnahme von US-Diplomaten der amerikanischen Botschaft in Teheran (Iran), was die USA komplett blamierte.
In der aktuellen Krise ist die EU der Hauptverlierer, Russland der Aggressor und die USA der Kriegstreiber.
Wie hoch denkt ihr, werden die Zinsen diesmal steigen? Die offizielle Inflation wird demnächst zweistellig, denke aber nicht dass die Zinsen zumindest in der EU derart steigen können, da die Staaten komplett überschuldet sind und die EZB jetzt schon Pleitestaaten mit manipulativen Anleihenkäufen auf Kosten der anderen Staaten stützen muss.
Prognostiziere einen Anstieg der Fed-Zinsen in den USA auf 5-10%. Was denkt ihr?

How high will Fed rates go this time? Shocking historical facts.
If you look at the history of Fed rate hikes after World War II, you see that there was a similarly dramatic situation in the 1970s and early 1980s.
In late 1980, early 1981, interest rates even rose to almost 20% in the short run, while official consumer price inflation reached double digits.
The 1970s also saw a confluence of several unfavorable events.
First of all, 1971 marked the beginning of the fiat system after Nixon "temporarily" suspended the gold backing of the dollar (gold standard). This opened the door to excessive money printing (inflation) in the years and decades to come.
In addition, there were the after-effects of the devastating military defeat of the U.S. in Vietnam at the end of the 1960s and the withdrawal of troops in the 1970s under Nixon.
Then, in 1973 and 1979/1980, there were two successive oil crises. Oil price shock. Official (embellished) inflation rose to 11% and 13%, respectively.
And then in 1979 there was also the year-long (444 days) hostage-taking of U.S. diplomats of the American embassy in Tehran (Iran), which completely embarrassed the U.S.
In the current crisis, the EU is the main loser, Russia the aggressor and the U.S. the warmonger.
How high do you think interest rates will go this time? Official inflation will soon be in double digits, but I don't think interest rates can rise that much, at least in the EU, because the member states of the EU are completely over-indebted and the ECB already has to prop up bankrupt states with manipulative bond purchases at the expense of the other EU states.
I predict a rise in Fed rates at least in the U.S. to 5-10%. What do you guys think?
