🟥 END OF THE PROTESTSWe have protested in many ways, continued despite hate & death threats. The government accepts to be responsible for the death of billions of people. Society has failed.
This project ends. The resistance remains. ✊

Good news, "Last Generation" in Austria has voluntarily disbanded. Speculate that they have run out of funding.
In a posting they cite expenses for fines and high legal costs.
In the last posting they blame the (Austrian) government for the deaths of billions of people.
To me, the group has done more harm than good, preventing normal people from going to work, vandalizing cars, museums, and public roads.
Overall, the "climate stickers" have done lasting damage to the image of climate protection, even though the cause itself is very important.
Critical posts about the group on Facebook were repeatedly censored, while the MSM mostly reported favorably on the "activists".
Another reason for the dissolution could be the upcoming parliamentary elections in Austria. Zero chances that the Greens will make it into government again.
But I suspect that the main reason, as is usually the case, is money. However, further "protests" have been announced.
What do you think about the dissolution of the Last Generation in Austria? What do you think are the real reasons? Do you think that museums and streets will no longer be vandalized, or should we not rejoice too soon?
