Wealth will not get yourself into the higher Leagues of @splinterlands I have beaten Decks that are very expensive with a good strategy with Cards that are worth fraction on the opponent's. I have been on the other side of that exchange many times and witnessed the power of well executed combination of Summoner + Monsters. That does not mean skill will get you far. Skill is valuable as wealth. Knowing that is very important part of being a @splinterlands player/investor.
The interest in the game has been slowly picking up steam during the Holidays. There has been an average of 260 daily signups with over 5% of them buying Spell Books. These results are only mildly impacted by the recent bull run.
Growth in Modern Battles
Modern Battles are the most suitable for new players. Not accounting for bots, this is a positive indication of new money and activitiy coming to @splinterlands from outside.

I tried extremely hard to make it to Diamond II during the last few hours draining my Energy Capture rate below 60% I will have to brush up on both my skills and Cards to move further in coming Seasons.

Diamond Reward Chests are more likely to contain the big payoffs, but those probabilities sine when there are large numbers of Reward Chests accumulated. The current market value of 50 Diamond Chests is only $11.055

I had to spend the DEC I had + more bought on the market on Roaring Twenties Arena. We are planning to Battle at higher Arena Levels which come with better Rewards. The continuous stream of DEC income is very useful and there will be many burned during DEC-B sale.

Request to @kiokizz: Adding GLX Airdrop to the list would be very useful. It is earned through staking SPS. Therefore I think adding it along with VOUCHERs is fitting :-)
I have seen these market cycles two times. There are many more things to learn. Over time I have become calmer and more relaxed. There will soon be a flood of hype and excitement in cryptosphere. Remember that whatever that is making a difference comes from building and innovating in the bear market. The greatest wealth in cryptosphere comes from the bear markets.
