Hello Movie lovers.
Today is all about one of the most talked about movies making the rounds, the latest Netflix Series Sand Man. I am sure a lot of you would be wondering just what this new watch is about. Well, I'll have you know that the name Sand Man, at the very mention, would take you back to a certain Villain in Marvel's World of Spiderman. However, one thing that must be known beforehand is that this masterpiece is in no way related to the Marvel Franchise. Which now begs the question, "Would this Movie be really worth it?". I cannot be the judge of that. People's taste in movies may differ, and this one could yet be of little interest to you. Yet, I'm almost certain that after sticking around with this, you'd have a change of heart.

REVIEW
Morpheus, also known in the series as the king of dreams - an Immortal cosmical being is captured by an occult sect in 1916 lead by a Mortal Socerer, Roderick Burgess, in a quest to bring back his dead son Randall. After having succeeded in capturing Morpheus, and ceasing his totems of power; which brought about the rise of an epidemic called the "Sleepy sickness", Roderick was visited by Nightmare - one of Morpheus' creation in order to ensure his inability to escape.

Morpheus, however, would not succumb to the demands of his captor where he asked for "Wealth, Fame and Immortality". A demand that according to Morpheus wasn't meant to be given to mankind. Morpheus eventually escapes from his captors 106 years later, and sets out to make right of the world the damage that has been caused only to be greeted with more saddening news of his realms decay since his departure.

Morpheus soon realises he needs to get back what was stolen from him, but in the wake of the recent events, The king of dreams, therefore would make a decision to inquire the help of a powerful being, in order to get back powers.

OPINION
The first episode was by far a stellar classic. The casting, storytelling and quality was top notch for me. All this time I have always thought there was a world outside the one we've come to believe is real, like what Morpheus called "the Waking world". The first episode encapsulates im profound details how separate our world is, but yet not far apart. I don't know how else to explain this, because there are so much detail in this that left me utterly gobsmacked.
The show, indeed, deserves all the praise and hype it's gotten, and for a first episode it's just amazingly beautiful. Now that's what's up, no? Haha.
Now, more than ever I can't wait to dive back into it.

I hope you guys enjoy watching this as much as I did.
