Sunsets are special, whenever I can I sit for a moment to look towards the horizon while the sun goes down. This moment of the day is special, I would dare to say that it is even magical. When the sun is setting, the colors that can be seen in the sky are incredible, the sky becomes a great canvas that shows a gigantic work of art, in which we can see colors of different shades, ranging from yellow to red. (including orange and purple).
Every time I have the opportunity, I like to photograph the sky at sunset, I like that mixture of colors, especially when it turns orange, which gives it a touch of a desert landscape, from the west, Arizona or Texas style.
The photographs that I show in this publication were taken at my house in Miranda State (the first two), and on the island of Madeira, in Portugal (the last two).
The first image was taken around 4:00 pm, the sun is still visible in all its splendor, the colors of the sky are still shades of light blue, with many clouds.
While in the second (taken from the same place, but already at sunset, around 6:00 pm), reddish and orange tones begin to be seen, which make the sunset beautiful. We also observe three birds flying through the sky, which makes the photograph more beautiful.
The last two photographs (taken in Madeira) show a beautiful sunset over the sea. Many people love this type of sunset on the beach, since the colors that are shown in the sky are reflected in the sea, which makes the magic multiply by two, an oasis of colors.
