A journey from hidden village Tangling to Ganesh park 🏞️

in #hive-1637729 months ago

Hey everyone, it's great to see you again on my blog.
Today, I'm super excited to tell you all about my recent trip to the amazing Himalayas, specifically in a place I love a lot called Kinnaur. This beautiful district Kinnaur is situated in the heart of Himachal Pradesh.

Kinnaur holds a special place in my heart because it's so beautiful. There are big, stunning snowy mountains all around, and the rivers are crystal clear. The whole district has this calm and peaceful feeling that just makes you feel happy. But what I love the most about Kinnaur is the people who live there and their wonderful culture. They're so friendly and welcoming, and it really makes you feel at home.
One thing that really impressed me is how the local people protect their land. They force government to make rules so that people from outside the district can't buy land or property there. I think this is a great decision because it helps preserve their land, trees, and culture of Kinnaur. It's like they're protecting the nature for sake of everyone, and I think that's wonderful.
I'm very excited to share all my adventures with you about this beautiful district 🏔️.....

Now, let's go to the small village called Tangling. In my last blogs, I showed you some nice pictures and told you about our adventures until now. If you haven't seen them yet, you should check them out!

When we reached Tangling, we saw a few houses surrounded by green hills. This village was where our next hike begans.

The hosts at the homestay were really kind. On that night, Uncle came to see if we needed anything. He cooked us some delicious food for dinner and shared stories about the area. He told us about a group of people who had come a few days before us. They wanted to go hiking, but the trail was closed because of snow. They tried to go anyway and completed the trek but it was too dangerous. They were from Kinnaur, so they knew the area well. If they had been outsiders, they might have gotten into real trouble because the mountain is very steep, and the hike is really tough.

We woke up early in the morning and asked the people at our homestay to make us a big breakfast for the hike.

As we left the village of Tangling behind and hiked for 2-3 hours, we came across a beautiful small water crossing. To get across, we had to use bridges made not of one big piece, but of three four long pieces of wood held together by smaller ones. It was quite an adventure! At first, we were really scared to cross it, but after a while, we gathered some courage and made it across.

As we kept going, we saw 2 3 houses, and there were pretty stone barriers on the way. These simple structures added to the beauty of the scenery as we continued our walk.

After hiking for 2 to 3 hours more, we reached a spot where we could see the stunning towns of Kinnaur Reckong Peo which is at a height of 2,290 metres (7,513 ft) . It was such an amazing sight that took our breath away, and I made sure to take plenty of photos to share with all of you.

In the picture above, you can see many houses 🏘️ on the hill. Also, you can spot a flat area, which is the college ground of the city. This is the place I'm talking about is Reckong PO, which is the largest city in the district.

Below the city of Reckong Peo flowed a beautiful river.

As we kept walking on our hike, we noticed dark clouds gathering in the sky. We got worried about the rain because we didn't have things like umbrellas or raincoats with us. But for a moment, I got lost in the beauty of the trees, clouds, and mountains, as you can see in the photograph above.

Along the way, we also spotted some sheep and goats happily munching on grass.

We spotted many signs that reassured us we were on the right path. Some stones were stacked in a balanced way, almost like they were guiding us and telling a story of peace and calmness in this place.

We also noticed the symbol "om" 🕉️ painted on some of the stones

After hiking for about 7 to 8 hours, we finally arrived at our destination the beautiful Ganesh Park 🏞️. [//]:# (!pinmapple 31.52902 lat 78.31773 long d3scr)

The hike was challenging, but seeing this beautiful place made it all worth it.

I'm out of words to describe its beauty, so I'll let the photos speak for themselves.

When we arrived at the hiking spot, we were really tired. We booked a tent there. Local people from Tangling village had carried all their things and set up camps in Ganesh Park. Everything there was cheap, so hikers could rest easily. We booked two big tents for our group of five. They even gave us dinner for the night.
