Back in March we decided to redecorate our garden a little. And so, after strolling trough our local garden center on a free afternoon we decided to take home some plants which we liked based on the picture of their info card. One of them being the passion flower species called "Damsels Delight".
Assuming they wouldn't flower this year we planted them. But while i am typing this it's 22 degree's Celsius outside, and tomorrow it's even gonna peak on 26 degree's locally. This heat (normally it's 7 - 10 degree's Celsius around here at this time of year) made nature a little off by thinking it's spring, and 2 weeks ago our passionflower started growing buds, of which some are all really starting to bloom.
This particular type of passionflower is purple instead of blue, and has purple flaming on the edge of the leafs surrounding the flower. I really like to color, making it a nice addition to our small garden.
Thanks for stopping by!
