I will begin by tackling how I maintain my physical health. Personal hygiene is a key component of maintaining your physical health. We have been raised on different backgrounds, and we have individual differences. I personally practice personal hygiene to maintain a healthy human body.
Bathing is one of my practices to maintain my physical health. I had a friend at the university; he was a guy who did not like bathing. He was exposed to skin rashes and diseases. As they say, birds of the same feather flock together. I was nearly in his shoes until I started practicing good personal hygiene to maintain my physical health. This was not only to expose me to skin disease but also to embarrass a person among his or her peers. We replaced bathing with washing of the armpit and face, which we call Congo, especially during harmattan season. But lastly, it did not help us maintain our physical and mental health.
Regularly brushing your teeth and washing your clothes is another way to maintain your physical health. Naturally, some odor is produced in our mouths after sleeping. It is important to at least brush the teeth two times a day. I also maintain my physical health by regularly washing my clothes. What you wear is what defines your personality. It is good to always wash your clothes, as this will help enhance your physical outlook.
Mental health is key to personal development. I would like to share how I maintain my personal health. One may maintain his or her personal health by doing what makes sense. I personally maintain my personal health by listening rather than talking and by having good interpersonal relationships. I have always talked less while maintaining a listening ear to others to learn from their ideas and concerns. And I also maintain my mental health by having interpersonal relationships.
