What's worse than a Monday morning is a rainy Monday morning.

Today is Monday, the start of another work week. Many people dread this day as it has become the symbol of a stressful start of the week and I consider myself as one of those people.
I don't know if it's just here in the Philippines, but Monday mornings are a headache. The traffic is significantly worse than any other days of the week. A lot more people line up for buses and other public vehicles. And what's worse than that is when it rains. Imagine the inconvenience and hassle the rain brings especially on a Monday morning.
Over the weekend, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration or known as PAGASA, announced that the Tropical Depression intensified into a Tropical Storm named Kabayan. As of writing, the storm is estimated at 275 km East of Davao City.
One of the provinces affected by the storm is Cebu. This explains this morning's rainy and gloomy weather. But looking at the brighter side, even though there was literally no sun, I found the rain a great opportunity to take some photos. Although I hate a rainy morning, there's still something I love about it – the raindrops falling on windowpanes!
This morning, on my way to the office, I enjoyed taking a lot of photos. So, I'm sharing them here. I am grateful that we left the house early and the roads weren't that jampacked yet. This morning reminded me that no matter how gloomy the skies are, there is something to be grateful for, get creative with, and feel appreciation for.
