Beyond The Looking Glass is the second book in the Unseen series, a story that came to me from the other side. A story where I thought I was just the narrator until I heard the Words of the Unseen.

This second story goes beyond time and place and mixes the long ago with the here and now. Because history keeps repeating, until we learn and do something about it.

Beyond The Looking Glass - Words of the Unseen - Chapter 61

Dear Reader, words can be such trickery. Do you remember singing along to a song as a kid?

Remember that you used the words you think you heard.

For instance that song by Mr.Mr. "Kyrie." If you were into Star Wars you probably sang "Carry a laser."

Or if you were into girls "Kyrie leads us," Kyrie being the name of some girl.

You love the song, you sing it loud and it feels so right.

Then one day, you are Googling your life away and out of nowhere you see the light. Till now you have always taken words for granted, till now.

Kyrie Eleison, Down the road that I must travel

Kyrie Eleison, Through the darkness of the night

Kyrie Eleison, Where I'm going will you follow

Kyrie Eleison, On a highway in the light

But She....

She is different.
She never eats anything.

She, I don't think I've ever seen her even take a sip of water.

She teaches the Voetjes, who is quite wise for her estimated age, and an alien with the power to control a diamond planet... who is She then?

She who tells me things I feel I know, and hides those words from me as soon as she leaves the body she borrows.

She is the one who tells me that I do not listen.
That I am not open.
That I unconsciously close myself off because I don't want to allow myself to know. Because something inside me is very much aware that what I know is a lot. That I know too much to deal with now, but how?

As I know nothing.

I walk down the stairs carrying a moving box. I am on autopilot getting my stuff out of this house, and out of nowhere I understand.

Her name is not She.
It only sounds like She in Dutch, She sounds exactly like Sei, and then I hear Minh..... Sei Minh.

Sei Minh, why did you hide behind a word?

Where did this come from?
How have they been able to pull the She wool over my eyes for so long, and why light the veil today?
"Don't ask me how I know but this is right," I think as I throw the box into the trailer. What a brilliant move.

I moved houses before but not like this, not with just a trailer but no car.

We pull and push it with three of her friends and one of mine.
It's just down the street and around the corner and then we're almost there, a bit bigger, a bit more spacious, a separate bedroom and living room.

It looks super cool with big windows and a high ceiling. I feel rich and that's okay, I now work 5 nights a week.

Our palace, finally out of the sweet, crazy student house.

A step forward for my wife and me.
A step that would hopefully bring time, peace, and space for the two of us.

I really had to ask Sei about my amazing discovery, because I knew I was right, but what´s the story? Why the tomfoolery?

Finally, Claudia slept in our new house, she had had reasons to postpone it for days and I was really fed up with that strange balancing act.

She was constantly walking on a rope tied between Bas Engel, who I had started to see as Cabilah's dark partner, and me on the other side.
Me the clumsy well-meaning white brother who knew nothing and was trying to find his way through this forest of madness.

I tried to let go of this unsettling feeling as now she was finally here.

Apparently, curtains were not an unnecessary luxury because the sun woke us up early. It did not matter, we had no reason to get out of bed.

"Let me make us breakfast," I say with a smile while I serve her a joint, get up, and open the door to the kitchen to make us some ham-cheese croissants.

She lies in my arms as we enjoy our first breakfast, and I feel like the king in this new tiny castle of mine.

While she sits on top of me in my favorite position and gently rides me while I play with her full belly I feel her hands slide upward to my throat.

She moves more violently, while the hands have now closed around my neck and start to squeeze gently.

This is new I think, but exciting.
Not so vanilla, could this be Cabilah?

To be sure I seek eye contact but her head is bent down and her hair blocks all view.
She squeezes harder and now rides me with full force. Pleasure and pain this must be Cabilah.

I let my doubts go and enjoy the moment. The moment is short-lived as the pressure around my throat starts to increase even further.

The pleasure-pain has become very unpleasant. I start coughing. Her grip is so tight that the planned "stop it," does not come out anymore.
