Did You Miss Me?

Even if you did not, it´s great to be back.

I did not sit still Dear Reader, while being absent in your life I discovered an intriguing possibility related to the origin of life, The Laboratory of Eden.

Before I left I think I clearly established that the book of Genesis is mainly copy-pasta. If you want to know more about that, just scroll to the bottom and read the last four or five posts.

Okay, there I was looking for my favorite part of a certain dead scroll to use for a new story when I was bombarded with the following thought.

Adam & Eve were seduced to eat from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, and according to the Secret Book of John it was Jesus, yes The Savior himself who did the seducing.

However, I caused them to eat.

I (John the Apostle) asked the Savior,
“Lord, isn’t it the serpent that caused Adam to eat?”

He smiled and replied,
“The serpent caused them to eat
in order to produce the wickedness of the desire to reproduce
that would make Adam helpful to him.”

Certain Death

No Genesis says God had warned them that there would be certain dead if they would do that, literally certain dead. But they did not die.

Why was that, because there is a difference between certain dead and instant dead.

After eating from the Tree of Knowledge they became like god, "Like Us."

Like us does not mean equal to us, and so God said "Okay in that case you are not allowed to eat from the Tree of Life, hahaha...." Which implies that they were allowed before but not anymore.

Because before they could eat anything but the fruit of knowledge.

Now they were knowledgeable but mortal.

Now here is what I think;

Remember Enil that arrogant God-like creature that created mankind by putting mud, and blood together and tinkering with our DNA?
Remember how I told you they did not agree on what men should be able to do and how much men were allowed to be like them?

Those Anunnaki guys lived for ten thousand years at least, they clearly stated from that Tree of Life.

And they knew about DNA modification, building amazing structures, delving gold, and all that good stuff, I guess they also ate from the Tree of Knowledge.

What if we showed the ancient peeps that documented these stories a string of DNA, would that look anything like a tree? Or is there any other way, that I can see some sort of Tree in DNA strings?

DNA is the Tree of Life & Knowledge

What if the powerful ones, or God gave humans one or the other?

That would explain this other piece that John mentioned regarding his talks with the Savior about Eden.

I (the Savior)appeared as an eagle perched on the Tree of Knowledge!
In order to teach them
And raise them up from sleep’s depths.

When Yaldabaoth discovered that they had moved away from him
He cursed his earth.
He located the woman as she was preparing herself for her man.
He gave the woman over so that the man might be her master,
Because he did not know the secret of the divine strategy.

So the savior awakens the brains of Adam & Eve, giving them knowledge. The powerful one in charge was not happy and cursed his earth, which is something I mentioned before. When mankind did not do what the Gods liked they turned their back on them.

The savior did this because he had a Divine Strategy. Now I have a bit of self-awareness and I think everyone thinks that his or her strategy is divine. But clearly, the savior and the guy in charge did not agree on the outcome because:

The man and woman were too terrified to renounce Yaldabaoth,
Who showed his ignorance to his angels
And he cast both of them out of paradise
Dressing them in heavy darkness.

In short, the guy in charge wanted us to live forever to do their dirty work, but someone called Savior Snake messed up that plan and gave those innocent blissful humans the wisdom of the gods.

Which caused them to be kicked out of the Laboratory called Eden into the real world, aka Darkness.

Eden was nothing more than a Laboratory

It was too late to change that, so now the only option left not making us exactly like them was to ensure that those little wisecracks do not live long because then we will be identical to The Lost Gods.

As the design for eternal life lay in the Laboratory, they were removed and disposed of.

So how crazy is that look at the Origin...not too crazy maybe, just... different.

Tree of Life vs The Tree of Knowledge principal

This savior, as mentioned in the Dead Sea Scroll The Apocryphon of John, could be considered a remorseful God, who saw the human potential limited by not knowing.

So he altered our DNA tree, just like we can today

It is all about growing different branches within our DNA, emphasising the branch that would grow a brain, or putting our growth in enabling a more generative body.

Building Blocks Of Human Potential

I might be wrong and oversimplifying things but now that we won most battles from common diseases we see more and more people die because the body lacks the ability to regenerate cells properly.

But we have the mental capacity to understand and investigate the situation.

Knowledge was the branch altered in our DNA, when the Serpent Savior gave us the Apples. Then his counterpart took away the other part of their God-like DNA; eternal life.

Making sure that we would never be like them.

Genesis confirms the fact that they were removed, it clearly was one or the other:

God's statement in Genesis 3:22, "Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil," and removing them from the Garden to prevent access to the Tree of Life, which could grant eternal life.

This suggests that eating from the Tree of Life, rather than their initial state, would have been the source of immortality.

We became mortals with flawed DNA, but a brain to overcome those flaws and maybe one day be able to change the branches in our DNA in such a way that the body's regenerative powers last an eternity.

Not sure if I want that tough, but the idea of those trees being DNA strings, sounds to me like the only plausible way I would be able to make a less intelligent creature understand DNA modification.

Just think, how would you tell someone from the middle ages who believes in witches and Gods that their body is nothing more than a not-so-well-constructed Lego set? That during the built not all blocks were used, that some branches of the tree were kept short deliberately?

Yes, DNA can be metaphorically viewed as a tree in several ways, especially when considering evolutionary relationships and the way genetic information is passed down across generations. Here’s how this idea works:

I think that in a more abstract sense, DNA can be seen as a tree of information.

DNA is The Tree of Life & Knowledge

The structure of DNA contains a hierarchical organization:

Base pairs: Like the root of the tree, these are the foundational units of genetic information.
Genes: Small groups of base pairs form genes, which are the first branching points of the DNA tree. These genes carry the instructions for creating proteins and carrying out biological functions, including the assigned regenerative powers.
Regulatory sequences: As you go up the "tree," you find regulatory elements that control how genes are expressed and in what context.
Traits and phenotypes: At the tips of the branches, you have the outward expression of genetic information in the form of traits, like eye color, height, or susceptibility to certain diseases.

Bikini Bottom Line

I guess that in essence, DNA can be metaphorically understood as a tree. It organizes and transmits genetic information in a branching, hierarchical manner—whether through evolutionary relationships, ancestry, or modification.

This "tree" connects all living organisms, symbolizing both unity and diversity in life, and can be modified as we all know too well.
