Greetings to all ! The truth is that I hadn't published photographs of shadows for a while, but today I want to show you this series of photographs that I took during an intense afternoon in my flat, taking advantage of the intense illumination of the sun, and of course of the light coming through the window, I was able to compose with certain figures and be able to capture the silhouettes that were generated.
Perhaps for some people, there is no interest in this type of photography, but in my case, if I love to compose photographs, where I want to capture silhouettes, shadows or even a backlight, everything involves a management of lighting, so that you can capture the essence of these shadows.

La verdad qie tenía un tiempo, que no publicaba fotografías de sombras, pero hoy les quiero mostrar esta serie de fotografías que saqué durante una intensa tarde en mi apartamento, aprovechando esa intensa iluminación del sol, y por supuesto de la entrada de luz por la ventana, pude componer con ciertas figuras y poder captar las siluetas que se generaban.
Quizás para algunas personas, nonle.encuentra interés a este tipo de fotografías, pero en mi caso, si me encanta componer fotografías, donde se quiere captar entre siluetas, sombras o incluso un contraluz, todo conlleva a un manejo de la iluminación, de manera que se pueda captar en esencia estas sombras.
Among the subjects photographed, which I essentially captured their shadows, were my cat Kira and my dog Brandy, as well as some cuddly toys and objects such as the statue of liberty and the Eiffel tower. All of them in such a way that you could recognise their figures in the shadows generated.
Although, it is clear that many of these shadows are like symbols, recognised worldwide, and other figures that we can recognise by deduction, such as the cat, the dog or even the silhouette of Mickey Mouse, because of his unmistakable big ears.
Entre los motivos u objetivos fotografiados, qur en esencia capté sus sombras, estuvieron presente mi gata Kira y mi perrita Brandy, por otro lado algunos peluches y objetos como unas estuillas alusivas a la estatua de la libertad y la torre Eiffel. Todos de manera que se pudiera reconer sus figuras plasmadas en las sombras generadas.
Aunque, es claro que muchas de estas sombras son como simbolos, reconocidos mundialmente, y otras figuras que por deducción lo podemos reconer, como el de la gata, la perra o incluso la silueta de Mickey Mouse, por sus inconfundible orejas grandes.
Now, for the camera settings, as it is a strong and intense light, which generates shadows to the main figures, it is suitable with parameters such as an ISO without touching it in the 100s, while the shutter speed maybe between 1/250 to 1/300, enough to capture the main motif.
In addition, the fact that the sun is positioned perpendicular to the window of my flat is an aspect of the lighting that is used to great advantage, in the early evening at around 5 pm. That's usually the time I like to take pictures.
Ahora, para la configuración de la cámara fotográfica, por tratarse una luz fuerte e intensa, que nos genera sombras a las figuras principales, se adecua con parámetros como un ISO sin tocarlo en los 100, mientras que la velocidad de obturación quizás entre unos 1/250 a 1/300, suficientes para capturar el motivo principal.
Además, de que el sol tiene una ubicación perpendicular hacia la ventana de mi apartamento, es un aspecto de la iluminación que se aprovecha mucho, en pleno comienzo del atardecer sobre las 5 pm. Usualmente ese es el horario que me gusta hacer fotografías.
