No power?

in #hive-1688692 years ago

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog at this hour. Electricity is one of the necessities of life and it may be the beginning of the end of many great things that we are currently experiencing in the world. We see the difficulties that some countries like mine are experiencing at the moment with partial supply of power, I'm certain that it will be more crazy than it is now if it were to be a permanent phenomenon. Well, sit back, relax and enjoy all that I have packaged for your reading pleasure.

Imagine a world without electricity, then you have to start thinking of using lanterns and candle to light up the house when it is dark. Many homes will result to cooking with firewoods and the foods that will be prepared will have to b finished in a day or two because there is no refrigerator to store the food. Not only that, a lot of people will be jobless because of lack of power. For instance, within few hours all gadgets in the world will be off and it means that there will be no means of charging them.

Everyone whose workstation is their mobile phone or laptop have automatically gone jobless and may have to think of seeking for job opportunities elsewhere. In fact, communication will be difficult at a time like this due to lack of power. We'd have to go back to the days of communicating through word of mouth or letters that may take several months to be delivered. It will be a very difficult one for us to cope with having experienced swift communications (in the past). Do you also know that everyone who is into the business of selling gadgets and electronics will also run into a big loss and end up being jobless as well?

If we permanently live in a world without power it is going to be a hard one because almost everything have been digitalized. A permanent power outage will lead to the death of so many patients in the hospital because most of the medical equipments need constant electricity. Just a few seconds of power outage will lead to the loss of lives. Likewise, in the food industry, there will wastage of food due to lack of power to preserve them especially for people who deal with perishable goods.

I can say from personal experience that it will cause more harm than good to the world. Power supply have been epileptic in my place of residence for about two months. It affected every aspect of our lives. We have to buy water from men who sell them in trucks that are called "me ruwa" before we can cook, bath or do laundry. If perchance you run out of water and these men are not in sight, you'd have no choice than to wait until they come around. Also, I had to buy a 27000mAh PowerBank during this period to be able to keep my phone alive at all times to be able to work. Generator, an alternative to electricity is also difficult to run at this time due to crazy queues at gas stations caused by artificial scarcity.

What if you had no electricity

Imagine there was no electricity anywhere in the world from right this moment. What would your life look like, how would you handle it and what negatives, problems, or benefits, do you think you’d encounter? Would it be good or bad?

In conclusion, the lack of power anywhere in the world in my opinion will be disastrous.

A world without electricity would be chaos, especially since we are used to having light at the click of a button. Worldwide connection through the Internet would not be possible because of Tesla's great discovery.

It is not difficult to imagine a day without electricity, a few years ago in my country we spent a week without electricity and everything changed. We could not buy food for more than 3 days. We had to give away the excess food so it wouldn't rot and I got used to getting up with the light. I lit a candle once the last ray of sunlight was hidden and during the day I knitted to forget the difficult situation we were going through. Obviously no one worked during that week.
