As I mentioned yesterday, writing about my favorite and most-used feature on ecency is not just for winning a challenge; it's an opportunity to share something genuinely beneficial for our journey here on Hive. I strongly believe in Hive and its future, and I plan to be here for life. Anything that supports and enhances my journey is something I'm sticking with. Moreover, I enjoy sharing what I know, and that's why I'm sharing this with all of you.

The Ecency app is my go-to for everything Hive. I humorously say sometimes that I've bought real estate in the City of Ecency. What I mean by this is, I use the app for all things Hive. Today, I have another interesting feature that will captivate you if you're not already familiar with it — the Ecency publishing feature. One of the crucial aspects a content creator needs to perfect is their publishing tool. This is essential for making your mark on the Hive Blockchain. Sometimes, even with excellent content in terms of information, the lack of sophisticated and easily accessible tools can make it appear low quality. This is where the Ecency publishing feature steps in and solves the problem. It's equipped with all the tools you need to create high-quality content on Hive.
Why it's so unique:
- The convenience of selecting the community for your post by simply tapping on the "Choose a Community" drop-down menu is incredibly helpful for me. In the past, my previous publishing tool required me to navigate to the community first before posting. However, with the Ecency app, that's no longer the case. It's like a waiter presenting you with the menu for the day, and all you have to do is select the meal you want.
- The user interface, in my opinion, is well-arranged—from Title to Tags to the body of content. It enables me to create a post quickly and with ease.
- The editing tools below make it easy for you to edit your content and achieve your desired effect. You don't need HTML lessons to create content. I used to worry about remembering markdown (#*). Now, I know for newbies, this might seem like a foreign language, but the seasoned ones know what I'm talking about.
- The Auto Draft feature has truly been a lifesaver on multiple occasions. Once, I composed an entire 913-word post on a certain Dapp, and suddenly the website reloaded itself. I lost everything—imagine the frustration. On another occasion, I made the same mistake of writing directly from my thoughts, but this time through the Ecency app, accidentally hitting the back button and losing everything. As I went back to the publishing menu to rewrite, Bam! Ecency came to the rescue, auto-saving and reproducing everything I had input. So, in case you ever become as reckless as me, Ecency ensures you don't suffer the consequences. Additionally, there's the Save to Draft button for added peace of mind.
- When you want to input a link into your content, you don't have to use the traditional
[]()markdown. Instead, you can click the link icon below, and it automatically pastes any link you've copied to your clipboard.
- Tapping on the settings icon opens another page where you can access the schedule for your post, customize your reward preferences, set the thumbnail for your post, and manage beneficiaries. It's all made easily accessible.
- Finally, the preview icon, resembling an eye up there, displays a cool preview of what your content will look like.
The entire point here is that it makes content creation and publishing incredibly easy with all the readily available and easily accessible tools. Additionally, being an app, it's quite slick to use. I know those who use it will attest to all this. My advice for Hivers, especially newbies, is to give it a try and experience the magic and ease I'm talking about.

Floating FAQ and 3Speak Integration: The Floating FAQ provides valuable guidance to new users, making navigation easier. Additionally, the integration of 3Speak video features, including video uploads and recording, enriches the content creation experience.
Maintaining Key Services: The proposal outlines the services Ecency is committed to maintaining and improving, covering the Ecency website, mobile apps, Hivesearcher search engine, Hivesigner OAuth2 standard, Ecency RPC full node, and more.
What are the Future Plans:
Ecency has great plans for the future, including the exploration of Ecency Lite, Reals/Shorts video uploads, improved filters for Waves/threads🌊 ,the introduction of Ecency chat and many more which can be found in the proposal link page.
