I am @wizj and i humbly welcome you to this week's glowing.
I shall do a song by TIMAYA titled DON DADA. This song appears particular to me at this time because of its meaningful lyrics and progression.
Timaya is a Nigerian musician who have made positive impacts in the entertainment industry with his music. And so, the lyrics sung with an inviting call to caution about who we may have as friends because those we show love are the same those who'll turn against us.
He lamented thus:
The people you show love to na dem go fuck you up eh
Today broke is a fuck up (ehn)
I get guys weh I bring up
I pick dem from the bus stop
Now if I call them no dey pick up (for the gbedu weh we dey)
This re-addresses the fact that we shouldn't help with the mind of taking help in return because we may be highly disappointed beyond expectation.
However, courtesy demands that we reciprocate whatsoever good anyone had done to us back in good measures as well.
This notwithstanding, we cannot but continue to render help when necessary.
Placing a general conception because someone had disappoint does make any sense. Treat each person according to his/her conducts to you.
In a nutshell, dear hivers, learn to trust and believe in other people's ability or inability to take their duties to a good end.
The inspiration I've got from the song is that I should render help, try to lift up in my own little way void of an expectation of anything in return in order that I live long rather than live in shock or despair.
Take heed, learn virtue and live life good.
Don dada (uhh yeah)
Don dada (uhh yeah)
Na we be don dada
(Uhh yeah, uhh yeah, uhh yeah, uhh yeah)
Yeah, don dada (uhh yeah)
We be don dada (uhh yeah)
Na we be don dada
(Uhh yeah, uhh yeah, uhh yeah, uhh yeah)
Telli mi, telli me, telli me how you feel eh
The people you dey help say na dem go fuck you up eeh

Now if I call them no dey pick up (for the gbedu weh we dey)
All these guys weh dey insult (continue)
So nice and I won't stop
My level can never drop
I'm their role model I'm their big boss (for the gbedu weh we dey)
Ooh oo, all the money weh I get I wanna hold it
I don't wanna go to the club one night and blow it (hear me now)
Yehh! The best investment is on yourself oo
I don't wanna hear say nobody come pick my call no more
What's my name? Leggo (don dada) chulo eh
