Hello dear Hivers. This is my first post for this community. Checking my Feeds I came across a post from a friend that caught my attention and it was a weekend community initiative proposed by @galenkp. I found it very interesting and reading the proposal I liked one that is related to the work I do and decided to develop it which I mention below: "Think fast". You are the first to arrive at the scene of a terrible traffic accident. You can see people moving and others not moving inside the vehicle. There is no one else for miles and no phone service...just you. Explain what you do.
I am a physician with a specialty in traumatology. As a doctor I am used to encounter this type of situation and I detail what I would do in relation to the case: first, upon arriving at the accident site and being the only person, take security measures demarcating with safety triangles branches and stones if necessary according to the site where the accident occurred at least fifty meters from the accident site immediately check the people who are not moving if they are alive and check their critical condition if they are alive to proceed to give first aid and you may wonder why not first assist those who move? because the people who move always tend to hold more to receive first aid, than those who do not move and you can save the lives of people who are immobile to stabilize the people I contacted or verified that they had life immediately step to help people who move according to the number of people and critical condition of the injured, evaluate if you can take them all or just the one who is at risk of losing his life to move them to the nearest emergency hospital and notify the authorities to go to help those who are left on site as the case may be.
