Was Mac Burger made of horse meat too?

Once, I went to McDonald's in Kolkata and found a large banner there saying they didn't cook Big Macs of beef (to make happy local Hindus) or pork (to make happy local Muslims). I bought one: instread of meat patty, it had a pressed soybean puke with lots of turmeric. The restaurant was full of happy Indians. Have no idea how people who were used to great Indian cuisine could enjoy those burgers...
