Good Day everyone,my name is joy. My mom loves to call me joyish.
I travelled for Christmas in “Abuja” to celebrate the festival with my uncle and his children,he has two kids,one name mira,one Devid.
Mira is my age mate and we happen to be good friends,we got each other's back. Mira and I love watching cartoons and my favourite cartoon is Tom and Jerry. She likes it too,but David prefers to be left alone,while Mira and I love finding he's trouble.
Suddenly one day my uncle and his wife went to the market to get some food stuff.
And it was just me,Mira and David left at home.
David loves games a lot. He loves playing video games that's his favourite.
Mira and I went to find him in trouble as usual,not knowing we are the only one's at home.
David was happy because no one will stop him from beating us that day. He is older than us,Mira and I are younger,twins from different mothers funny right!. David is so quick and aggressive,only my uncle can calm him down.
Mira and I were very scared that we will receive the beating of our life. David is coming with a moldy hand and anger on his face. He's coming in my direction because I'm the one who always finds trouble first,I started crying and shouting,but guess what!. Luckily enough my uncle and his wife are just at the door step. My uncle quickly ran and grabbed David,but David was very upset.
That is what saved my ass that day.
At exactly 1:30pm. It's time for lunch,we were all set at the dining table,but David isn't there. He's still upset with me,my uncle has to go pet him with his favourite drink chivita(daddy's boy).
The meal was jollof rice and chicken,that's how we enjoyed the food as family,but then I'm missing my mom at home(in Akwanga Nasarawa).
It was 24 December Christmas eve,mira and I all dressed for the last day of Caro,we were so happy that we will dance and make new friends ,but David said he's not going,I knew he's always going to bring bad luck.
My uncle now said we not going because of security reasons,I was very mad at Devid he won. David was happy playing his video game,and I was very upset that night. I went to bed the following morning,Christmas day but I'm still upset.My auntie asked mira and I to go and bath after that, we were all set for church,my uncle starts he's car,I'm to sit close to Devid,I said I'm not going and my uncle wife asked me to come sit with her in the front.
After we returned,we ate and drank,we put on our new dresses. We went out and celebrated Christmas and made new friends. There are actually two of them, one named Joan and the other is Olivia.
After Christmas was over,we all sat in the living room watching the cartoon Tom and Jerry, my favourite except David.
My uncle received a call from my mom that I have to return,cause school will soon resume in a few days.
My uncle told me I'm going home the next day, I became upset.
But I enjoyed my vacation to be honest,I'm back for school now.
