MY AMBITION...

If transportation to the future is as expensive as our lives I’m sure we all are ready to pay the price regardless of what it is.
A life where we already know the result of what we are working and struggling for is what we’ll ever wish for but as much as this present life is concerned seeing the future is still a myth.

As a young boy full of dreams and aspirations to become a greater person than my parent and elder once. I’ve always dreamt big and I’ve added the hard work right from when I was young. Being at the top in classes has always been so simple to achieve especially when you are born into a family where they want you to study every now and then, what a boring life it was but in the end it was worth it because right from my primary school to my secondary days I never got tired of receiving the title of a best student. Because of all this achieve
I’ve always seen myself in white collar but as it seems today I’m not even close to having a white-collar job as a profession.

Because of my passion for animals and my passion for exotic cars, I’ve always seen myself being either a veterinarian or a mechanical engineer but I ended up being a chef. well as funny as this may sound it is true.

My aspiration to be either of those two was top-notch, especially being a veterinarian because I kept saying and acting like one at home and everywhere I go but the dream was killed because of my country and what people kept saying about the profession.

A lot of people talk down about the profession especially my aunt saying how learning the profession was gonna be a waste of time and money especially the ignorance towards rescuing and caring for animals in my country also most Nigerian institutions don’t take the course.

Also, my love for money took over my feelings because of the hardship my family was undergoing at that moment which drifted my dream from being a veterinarian/or an engineer to becoming a business person and a computer operator. It hasn’t been an easy journey but it has paid off.

My aspirations from three years ago are not what I am now and I find no regrets in my journey especially whatever it is I’ve lost on my way to the top because that was what built me and gave me the strength to keep striving. share in the comment section what your aspirations were.

I’m kind of happy that you understand it yourself that whatever it is that you lost is what has built you to where you are now

I don’t see any wrong with veterinarian though
And I’m surprised you’re a chef
Wow

When life keep tossing you around but you are not just ready to give up 😂
