Question # 1
Discovery of Splinterlands: How did you come across Splinterlands? Was it through a friend, social media, or perhaps a chance encounter? Share the story of your first introduction to this enthralling world.
I looked for play2earn games on the internet, such as ENJIN, Ethereum, and Hive ecosystem. Axie Infinity was one of the strongest competitors on play2earn games, with the most potential profit way back in the bull run year of 2021. However, the nfts of axie were quite expensive, compared to the spellbook I bought for only $10, which allowed me to play splinterlands. Interestingly, at that particular point, I was using Starter Cards, and I came across Mylor Crawling, who is among the best summoner cards available fighting against Melee attacks, while Yodin Zaku, who has explosive weaponry, is my absolute favorite from the same year. In my quest for more details on the game and the card combinations I envisioned to use, I also stumbled across YouTube. On the Bronze and Silver Leagues, there are some combinations that are unbeatable.
Question # 2
Duration of Participation: How long have you been a part of Splinterlands? Are you a seasoned veteran or a recent addition to this mesmerizing realm?
I'm a season player as of August 2021; unlike other good players who are referred to be veterans, I'm still something of an inexperienced player when it comes to this game, especially the Riftwacher and Rebellion editions, with which I'm unfamiliar. I would like to engage in the game, but I only have a handful of Chaos Legion cards, especially the legendary summoner that I pledged to have. I need a great deal of time and money to make sure I have all the cards I need to compete in competition and rank gaming. Brawl Tournament are essential to the strength of your guild and the accumulation of merits needed to get gladiator cards.
Question # 3
Time Spent in Splinterlands: Share the amount of time you dedicate to Splinterlands daily. Does it consume a significant part of your day, or do you balance it with other activities?
I play Splinterlands for approximately two hours on average every day. I find that competing in tournaments is a lot of fun and keeps me sharp in terms of developing new abilities and strategies for all types of combat scenarios. I try to manage my time when playing, setting aside time for gaming. However, on challenging days, I sometimes forget to play some of my tournaments, which makes it harder for me to participate. The worst part is when I forget to play my brawl tournament, which lowers my alliance's ranking in the competition.
Question # 4
Accomplishments: What have you managed to achieve in Splinterlands? Have you conquered certain leagues, earned particular rewards, or accomplished personal milestones that make your journey stand out?
Question # 5
Upcoming Goals: What are your aspirations within Splinterlands? Are you aiming for a higher league, collecting specific cards, or mastering a new strategy? Share your future ambitions within the game.
My goal is to be on the leaderboard, but that accomplishment is much beyond my capabilities because I play in the gold league division which is challenging to be on the top. The leaderboard is a tricky and chaotic battleground where many skilled players are present. These players really invest in cards that have the highest level cap in the gold foil league which helps them to win many games and getting on the top.
Collecting cards is also a top priority for me, and I also need to work on avoiding penalties. So in order to avoid incurring several penalties from utilizing starter cards and low level cards, my current objective is to gather soul bound rewards cards and to max it up on the gold league. Additionally, a new update has been released that forbids starting cards in brawl tournaments.
Question # 6
Advice for Beginners: Imagine speaking to someone who's just stepping into the Splinterlands universe. What advice would you give to beginners, based on your experience? Share tips, strategies, or insights that could help them navigate this world effectively.
I would advise new players to ask questions of other players at anytime while playing. More players is an indication that the game is improving as more seasoned players are keen to assist you in reaching and earning rewards in Splinterlands. My advice is to get the spellbook first so you may establish your own identity in the splinterlands and hive environment. Then, devote your time to studying the various card positions, abilities, and summoners. As you go, purchase more cards to increase your ownership.
There are additional factors to take into account because you may rent cards to play the game. You can hire cards to play the game, so that's something to think about. i use peakmonster.com to rent some of my cards that i need on my tournament and battle.
